First, reflecting all the Israelis I have spoken to, I wish to express gratitude and admiration for Prime Minister Harper, his administration, and the peaceful, optimistic and productive population of Canada.
At the rally outside the supreme court in Jerusalem I had privilege of hearing about your popularity among members of the Canadian administration. I am therefore hopeful that you will grasp the reality of this information as Prime Minister Harper has, and that you know how to prepare an offer for President Putin. This offer, at this point is the only thing that can bring peace to the middle east and possibly to the Ukraine as well.
The costs are very small while the benefits for tourism, immigration and multicultural understanding are enormous. The greatest saint in the history of Judaism with respects to purity is not Josef, but Rabbi Nachman (currently buried in Uman, Ukraine). Josef, although a son of Jacob, was a world figure respected by all the nation, except his own brothers (which is alas a familiar tale, but true). In fact, they would gladly have left him in Egypt. The only exception being Yehuda who was bound by more than an oath, the reward went to prince of that tribe, Nachshon ben Aminadav. King David is also among those that would not have left Josef behind. The logic shows that religious Kings, those that recite the psalms are likely to assist Joshua in carrying the remains of Josef to the holy land.
The Vatican is, I believe, one of the most likely places to understand how this one act of transferring the remains could bring the fear of G-d and a better understanding of scriptures to all people. Nachman is a modern figure, and his message is universal -- he is not "just" a Jewish Rabbi, the Old Testament is in fact a preparation for his coming and his birth as the second son Rachel is asking for when she names Josef. Some believe that the Vatican is jealous of Jerusalem, I hope not, because they would then be exactly as guilty as those that would leave their brother in Egypt. Josef only wanted to help his brothers from the beginning til the end.
Rabbi Nachman in Jerusalem will form a point of common interest and discussion for all faiths, that is the only way peace will come through a dialogue, because economics will only take us so far if the judicial system is corrupt. As the French say: "Science sans conscience n'est que ruine de l'ame".
President Putin will gain great prestige and perhaps avoid a hot war by accepting a formal request by Canada to make the transfer to Jerusalem, this promise could be made publicly and immediately so as to bring a positive push to the peace negotiations. This war as WW II is not really nation against nation, it's nations against a cancer in their own midst not the "Jewish Rat", but rather the "Amalekite Snake" that hisses SS. If I can be of any further assistance please let me know.
Canada has all the blessings, and should be successful in creating the needed atmosphere for peace and re-education. the linchpin is one single mortal remain.
