Throw Away Your Brain

The first step in getting close to God and attaining any kind of spiritual awakening is to throw away your brain completely. Meaning, to realize that next to the utter greatness of G-d and the complete wisdom of the True Tzadik we really know nothing. It is only once we realize and accept this that we can open up our hearts to G-d’s Torah with simplicity and faith; because as long as we are holding on to our preconceived notions and flawed ideas we will never be able to fully accept the word of G-d and the teachings of the Tzadik. Rebbe Nachman himself, toward the end of his life, after he had reached levels of knowledge and understanding beyond what any one could imagine, said “I really know nothing.” All of his followers had come to hear him speak, and he said to all of them “Why are you are here? I don’t know anything!” Of course, Rebbe Nachman knew everything! But even he realized that compared to the greatness of God he was like an ignorant fool. Rebbe Nachman said “G-d is great and we know nothing!” A person may ask: why do I need the Tzadik? Why can’t I think for myself? The truth, of course, is that the Tzadik’s purpose is to lead us to ourselves, to show us who we truly are. It is a basic principle that our minds are messed up due to the widespread confusion and falsehood in this world. G-d sent us the Tzadik to clear things up, to make a new path for us to follow, to show us the truth, and to show us who we really are and what God really wants from us. Before a person comes to the Tzadik he or she is a confused mess. He doesn’t know what is true or false, what is real or fake. Without the guiding light of the Torah and the True Tzadik it is impossible to see past our shallow, materialistic existence to the unlimited potential of what our lives could be. The Tzadik has everything, he can show each and every person who they are and what their mission in this world is. And indeed every person has a unique role and path to follow. However, in order to make room for the light of the Tzadik in our minds we must forget everything we thought we knew. All of our preconceived ideas about life, God, meaning, humanity, etc.; we have to throw it all away. For, having been brought up in a society obsessed with money, products, sexuality, food, materialism, etc., and having been fed lies by teachers, authority figures, TV, movies, etc., it should be quite obvious what a confused mess our minds are in and how distorted our views of reality must be! We must forget it all. THROW IT ALL AWAY! THROW AWAY YOUR BRAIN! FORGET EVERYTHING AND START NEW! Our minds are so filled with all our foreign thoughts and ideas that there is no room for the true teachings of the Tzadik to enter. To make that room we need to start from scratch. We need to accept that the Tzadik does indeed know more than us, and that he can heal us and save us and lead us to the truth, if we will only open our hearts to him with complete surrender. It is time for our minds to be reprogrammed, and for that we need an empty hard drive. THROW AWAY YOUR BRAIN!!! Rebbe Nachman teaches that the Truth is One. For instance, you can point to a piece of gold and say it is gold, and that is the truth, the truth is only one. However, there is infinite possibilities of falsehood that you could say, for instance you could say that it is copper, or lead, etc. etc. But there is only one truth, that it is gold. So too, in the Ultimate Reality of our existence, falsehood presents itself in many forms, whether it is through the illusions of money, desires and materialism, or through the many false faiths that people follow. However, there is only one Truth, and that is the truth of G-d, the Torah, and the True Tzadik. G-d sent us the Tzaddik to direct us on His path, to show us how to be free and how to come close to Him in truth. The Tzadik is G-d’s ambassador. He represents Godly wisdom for us in a way that we can get it. How fortunate are we that we have a Tzadik who can illuminate our eyes to the one ultimate truth and show us how to be real whole free human beings! Rebbe Nachman is the key to everything! Na Nach is the key to everything! But first, THROW AWAY YOUR BRAIN!!!!

Attention of: The Minister of Tourism of the State of Israel,

Honorable Mr. Uzi Landau,

Now is the historical opportunity to bring Rabbi Nachman to Jerusalem, especially since the tomb has been legally taken over by the Ukranian Minister of Justice as a historical tourist resort belonging to Ukrainians.

They do not need the body of Rabbi Nachman, because they don't want the Hasidim to come to Rabbi Nachman. The security problems are enormous and everybody wants to avoid a disaster.

Jewish pilgrims would much rather travel to Jerusalem then to risk their lives in Uman. Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat, has written a letter which expresses that he is very enthusiastic about the tourism potential for Jerusalem that Rabbi Nachman brings.

Rabbi Nachman has a reputation as world class philosopher and his teachings are studied by Universities and Churches. Bringing Rabbi Nachman to Jerusalem will create a World Peace Center around Mt. Zion and help keep Jerusalem united.

Rabbi Nachman will bring a gigantic economic boost once he is in the right place.

Learning Lekutei Moharan

This is link to a Daily Seder for learning Likoutey Moharan. It was created by Reb Shmuel Levy, a chasid of Rabbeinu and the musician behind the band Levyatan.

The seder begins from the day before Lag B'Omer, ל"ב, in the Sephirot HaOmer, with the preface to Likoutei Moharan and completes the sefer on the birthday of Rabbeinu. This reflects the the theme of the prologue to the sefer and the neshama of Rabbeinu's teaching. The prologue begins: "Come and see the works of God: an amazing revelation concerning the mystery of the greatness of the godly sage, Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai." And we know that Shimon bar Yochai is also gematria Nachman ben Simcha. There is a special Holiness to this seder and if you follow it you will see great Providence in the teachings and the events of your life. This is true every time you read this work, but it can be even more powerfully revealed within this seder. The file is in Hebrew, but if you go to the third page you will see the layout of the seder and if you know a little Hebrew you can see easily how it works.

Here is an amazing story. I have tried to learn this seder for many years. This year I felt it was the time to really commit to it and finish it. However, it was already Lag B'Omer and I missed the first day. I thought to myself that when I return from Meron I need to put this seder up on the internet and let people know. However, two days passed and I got caught up in worldly matters and didn't study myself. Then on the third day I said, I have to start my day right with this seder. I studied first thing and right after I got up from studying I did a small movement to move somehthing in my way and a lightning bolt of pain hit me in the muscle of my back and I was flat on the floor calling my wife to come home and help me. Well for a week I have been thinking, "How is it that right after I do the mitzvah of studying the holy sefer of Rabbeinu I get knocked out for a week?"

Well, today I got the answer. I didn't do what I had intended to do upon my return from the Holy journey to Meron. I delayed the most important and precious responsibilities and intent that I had. This is one lesson that I learned. Also, as I was laying on the floor the next day reflecting on the pain that I experienced I felt vividly Yirat Ha Shemayim, how my life is completely in the power above and beyond me and I can be crushed in an instant: As David Ha Melek says in the end of the second Tehillim:

Serve God with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

 Desire purity (from your desires)
Lest He become enraged and you perish on your corrupted path, because His anger can explode instantly.

Blessed are all who take shelter in His Providence.

And indeed this was the theme of the Torah of the day that I had just read (Torah 5). "Thunder was only created to straighten the crookedness of the heart." Hashem's thunder had sounded and his lightning struck me and straightned me out on the floor, and now taught me the beautiful and pure state of Fear and Awe. In His great kindness, Hashem struck me down right after my studying to remind me of what I intended to do, to teach me this beautiful lesson, and to help me receive His Chesed. For as we learn in Torah 6: "It is therefore necessary to put the fear of Heaven first, as then love will automatically follow."

We all experience great challenges in our life. It is the power of the Tzaddik Na Nach Nachma Nachman M'Uman to show us how to transform everything to the good. May this be for my refuah shlema Avraham Chaim ben Tamar and the fulfillment of my intent to share the great learning of the Holy and Godly sefer Lekutey Moharan!!!

May all your learning of Rabbeinu in any form help reveal the light of Hashem's kindness in your life and for all Israel.

Situation Summary,

Today is Jerusalem Day.

One more day we cry along with Rachel whose favorite son,
Rabbi Nachman has still not returned.

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu returns from China with yet another Peace Initiative that does not mention bringing Rabbi Nachman to Jerusalem, no one is fooled.
Not even a hint of Peace is on the horizon!

What do 1967 borders have to do with Peace?  Was 1967 a Peaceful year?
The result of the six day war was a period of Peace thanks to the 1967 borders.

Giving back land since then has only lead to aggravated terrorism, the more land given back, the more terror.  What we need seems to be all out WAR until Rabbi Nachman is returned to Jerusalem.  War can take on many forms, for example: Cold War, Ecological War, Nuclear War,
Biological War, Conventional and non-conventional War.

As Jews we are used to being blamed for all the SINS of mankind, we know we won't escape being
scapegoated by the very criminals perpetuating the crimes.  What if we played by their rules for a change?  Don't worry, we will never stoop to that.

Since the situation is clear as broad daylight, the solution should be easy enough to grasp for everyone.  The difference between victory and defeat on the field is what the situation is around the people holding the flag.  Guerrilla and criminal activities have that feature, that the leadership is unknown.  Harder to defeat, but they cannot win except by attrition (wearing down the opponent).

What these tactics are: simply to be blood suckers.

Judaism needs to pick up the flag and expect victory now that we have Jerusalem.  Jerusalem is the headquarters, and to the headquarters we need to bring the General that can lead us to victory, his name is Rabbi Nachman.  This general is so wise, that by bringing him to Jerusalem he will be victorious like King Solomon without a bullet being fired.

To understand this, one needs to understand how the economy is really based on sexual purity and not on gold.  This can actually be proven, but requires another study.

I'll post it when I get a chance.

A billionaire would be happy to give away all of his money if he knew it would buy him another month to live;
Which tells us that time is worth more than money ( u can make the calculation) most people however give away their time by serving a master (known as the boss) for money (very little usually).  They do so because they have a slave mentality.  They believe they Must give over their most precious commodity, Time.
This is why Rav Yisroel Karduner Z"tzl praised Saba Z"tzl for never getting the education (trade) to be someone else's slave.
Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

The Nanach beanie - The crown of the Good Name

In Ethics of Our Fathers we learn that the Crown of the Good Name is the highest - today we already know what crown this is: the Beanie that has on it THE good name: Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman!

bodily pleasure by the holy tomb of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman

B"H yesterday our master chef Gilad, may HY bless him and protect him, put out a batch of (12 litres?) chocolate strawberry milkshake, to add to our delightful diet.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman!

New neighbors in Uman

B"H yesterday another family moved to Uman (from Jerusalem) to be full time by the holy Rebbe Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

B"H the community here is growing and it gets better and better!

all the bounty and goodness in the world is completely contingent on the quantity and quality of Jewish souls in the world - that includes all the fancy new technology and all the bountiful food so readily available now and the luxurious lifestyle B"H so many of us enjoy now - which even Kings of previous good years didn't have.

B"H there might be a lot of craziness going on in the world, homosexuality became a good deed may the Holy Merciful One have mercy on us and save us, and now bestiality is becoming a common thing, may the Holy Merciful One have mercy on us and spare us, and the world is looking more and more like it did before the flood --- but that is just on the side of perversion --- which was the only side back then, except for Noach himself. Today, thanks to Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman - there are hundreds of thousands of people that are loyal to the Holy One Merciful G-d!  So the evil will erase itself, and the good will stand forever, amen!

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman!
