Rabbainu In Uman

BH right before Shabos a new Sefer Torah (Torah Scroll) was welcomed into the ark of the holy sanctuary of Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, there was a brief celebration which was continued after the Sabbath was received. The Sefer Torah was adorned with a prominent crown and pointer of pure silver.

Over the weekend there was a influx of hareidi visitors at the holy tomb - as many came to pay their respects on their way to or from the Rebbe R' Elimelech of Lizhensk who's yahrtzeit (anniversary of death) is today. The Noam Elimelech (as he is known by the name of the book containing his teachings as transcribed by his son) authored a famous little collection of doctrines called the "tzetel kutun" - small note - B"H now we have the holy Petek which is even smaller physically, and eternally larger...... [highly recommended to see a previous post in which I bring the Noam Elimelech from the portion of VuAira in which he says that Moshe Rabbainu did a transgression for the sake of Heaven and presented himself to Pharaoh as G-d! - please show that to your local rabbi....].

B"H here at the holy tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov the rabbis are raking it in as they have an almost monopoly of all the donations, thanks to these rabbis the majority of visitors to the holy tomb have almost no real conception of the true message of Rabbainu, and in addition it is thanks to these rabbis that the holy tomb is still in Uman and not brought to the holy city of Jerusalem as was Rabbi Nachman's express desire - and as recommended by the Shulchan Aruch - the Jewish Law. People are beginning to question these rabbis, where is all the money going that you have the audacity to demand more while boasting to be responsible for the saving of the holy tomb and its upkeep - wouldn't it be smarter and better all around that the rabbis leave....

Recently the Keren has closed shop in the Old City of Jerusalem and they have also handed over their street shop (basta) in Kikar Shabas (the charedi  hub of Jerusalem) to one of the mefursamim! The keren now maintains a van above the holy tomb of Saba, which is open during the day (I came at night so I never saw it in action) where they sell the holy books and offer coffee and tea.

BH as we approach Rabbainu's birthday - the 1st of Nissan - Rabbainu's Rosh Hashana which is mover valuable than everything - the New Years of the Kings (see tractate Rosh Hashana) - more and more people will be streaming in for the Kibbutz - the gathering B"H.

BH here in Uman the free food is in abundance, free room, the free mikva is working beautifully with hot shower, and all our needs are provided for with grace B"H. Basically everyone here by the holy tomb believe in the holy Petek B"H - some are very strong Nanach and others less so. Occasionally we are visited by some opposers, but they have no power here whatsoever to even open their mouths B"H - often during the dancing we sing Nanach and the Petek and they must remain silent and just go along with it.

B"H the Petek is gaining power and momentum!

Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!
