Killing (shaming) the evil doers is a peace offering!

In this weeks Parsha - Pinchas, we see that Pinchas killed the evil doers and was thus awarded by G-d with peace! So much for those people that think that peace is attained by sweet empty words. Sometimes you just need to cut them down. The Medrash says that spilling the blood (which could mean killing out right, or shaming - when a persons blood rushes to his face) of the evil doers is like bringing an offering to G-d and brings atonement.

On that note on one of the new Saba blogs (I think), the author justifies Sabas bashing of the Rabbi's citing the sources in the halachic book "chofetz chaim" that recommend such speech when it is called for.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

I don't hold that Saba did any "bashing" of anyone. I'm not trying to justify bashing by anyone. I have seen and heard some Nanachs "bash" because I don't believe their motives are entirely clean of hatred and revenge. If there's any hatred involved, and taking pleasure from revenge, and feeling superior to the ones being bashed, then this is lashon hara and worse according to the same places I cited in the Chafetz Chaim. But I do not believe Saba was doing this at all. He even said so many times himself that he is not saying these things with any hatred or anger towards these people whatsoever.

I believe your words here may be heard by people as sounding "Al Kaida'ish" or "Talibanish".
