Devarim and Na Nach

In this weeks Parsha, Parshas Devarim, we read that Hashem said to the Jews, "Turn yourselves and journey. . .until the great river, the Euphrates River" (1, 7). Rashi comments on why it was called "great": "Because it is mentioned with the Land of Israel, it is called great. As the common saying goes, the slave of a king is a king. Attach yourself to a potentate (a powerful person) and they will bow to you. Come into contact with one who is anointed and become anointed yourself." We see that just by having a connection to something pure, a person can become pure. In the same way, Rebbe Nachman said that anyone who attaches to him can also become pure and holy and a Tzadik even, just like him. By connecting to the holy and pure path of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, anyone can become pure, even the lowliest people. May we all merit this. Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

"Until we will never forget it" - from The Letters of Rabbi Yisrael

From "The Writings of Rabbi Yisrael", the end of letter #22, pg. 56:
The main point of the revelation of Hashem's G-dliness and Kingship, may He be blessed, to all who walk the earth, is through the aspect of memory, that it is necessary to guard one's memory very much. And the main point of memory is to strengthen oneself very much to bind well in one's mind and in one's knowledge the shining holy and awesome light that the Tzaddik shines to each person at every moment. And as long as the wisdom of the Tzaddik is not drawn into the heart well until we will never forget it then we still do not know about Him at all, may He be blessed.
The one who looks forward to your salvation every day and every moment.

B"H more free music on the music site

B"H our new Nanach friend, Mendy Werzberger gave me his new album - ואני תפלתי - to put up on the music site, you can hear it and download it here:

BH a gevald new Nanach song

BH a gevald new Nanach song for all those out there suffering from an identity crisis.....

where are you going
why are you hiding
its hard to face
keep up to the pace
swirling dellusions
social putrusions
you want to drop out
had enough of the bout
the silence screams out

who am i anyways
today yesterday seems like a phase
is there a point of consistency
to establish my true identity///
If only I knew who I really was
not role playing with my mind on the buzz
just to be naturally myself
is that to much to ask for, please help

struggling with my will to endure
one thing I know reliable for sure
its there for the rich and the poor, children and the mature

Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman
the holy master the redemption song
Expectant faith, delight, compassion beyond reason
Light, hope, joy, Judaism religion.

so now I've got my compass
and I'm charting my course
sometimes its clumsy and I'm filled with remorse
getting knocked around humbled as the earth
but I start again completely anew like childbirth

BH Nanach in Monsey

B"H here in Monsey there is amazing hafatza in motion. The last time I was here and I visited the "normal" Breslov shteibel they wanted to kick me out, so this time I almost didn't go, but as Divine Providence had it I ended up visiting and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that there are new young people there that have started a serious hafatza drive. There is a book case full of books, many of them Nanach publications, and these guys also bought a small schoolbus or van which they just painted white (because as long as it's yellow it requires a special license) and they are going to different places and setting up tables with the books. They put stickers with their phone number, and people are calling them all the time. So B"H I was able to hook them up  with even better Nanach connections, and B"H they'll be even more amazing hafatza.

Those guys are in addition to our amazing Nanach friends, who are doing real Nanach hafatza in Monsey - and get the credit for decorating my new DR. Gevald Nanach mobile.

The other day, for the first time I think, I entered BME and I met the Rosh Yeshiva, Y.F. and I told him that Rabbainu said that if one wants to be a "lamdan" he should learn Likutay Moharan, and we chatted a bit, and I gave him a copy of my Likutay Nanach. Y.F. didn't want me to enter the study hall so as not to disturb, so he had one of the men pay me off from the pushka (charity box) $10!

Then I met one of the members, and it was clear that he had started studying Likutay Moharan and had books of Rabbainu.

B"H Sharon sent me personalized Peteks, with my phone number and email, to help me connect with people here.

Tonight B"H there's the Wednesday night chill, which I hope to Nanach.

That's some of the excitement here, BH.

#148 - Name of the TZADIK

No, not the 148th Post of, but of my blog -  I started it a week ago on the Chag HaPetek, but now it is finished.  I tell it straight out to the world about the truth on Saba and the Petek. I used to write on numerous occasions on, but now I have new material that I never mentioned before.  Examples:  What is the special connection between Elisha HaNovi and Likutei Moharan?
Why is the sole mention of Nosson HaNovi in Tehillim located in Perek 51?  And why in Tikkun 48 of Tikunei Zohar, it mentions the word Shevi'i three times in a row and shortly afterwards mentions Tzadik Shevi'i?  Think it will be quite interesting.   So, to get started, click on

Nanach Sticker Bomb - Golders Green London

Not all doctors are the Angel of Death

Conversations from the Life of the Saba, pg. 249-250:

[Saba and his wife and baby, Nachman, were living in Jerusalem for 2.5 years. Then Saba went back to Tiberius by himself on a scouting mission to see if it would be possible to move back there with his family.] At the time I went to Tiberius, Nachman got such a case of pneumonia, that one in a thousand can come out of it! There was already nothing that could be done. There was a big doctor, an elderly professor, it was accepted in Jerusalem that he was a malach (an angel), not a doctor. Just a malach! A malach! A malach! (Dr. Wallach?) Dr. Wallach. This is something else, he was a malach. He was more than a doctor. Wallach. He would resurrect the dead! In any case, I saw, there was a pharmacist in Jerusalem, he was a neshama, a big neshama, he had compassion on the sick and she cried before him, "My husband went to Tiberius and I..the child is so ill." So he went and brought this malach to my son (And he healed him?) Yes. Baruch Hashem, he came out of the illness, but the illness was so strong that he suffered all the days of his life from breathing problems, he was already, it was already hopeless and I returned from Tiberius to Jerusalem to get them and she told me, "Do you know? What is this? Nachman, he was resurrected from the dead, he was already dead", yes.

For more about Dr. Moshe Wallach see:
He was the director of Shaare Zedek Medical Center from when it was founded in 1902 until 1947.

Dr. Wallach's spiritual and halachic guide was Rav Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. Saba speaks about Rav Sonnenfeld in a few places in Conversations from the Life of the Saba. Here is one example from pg. 237:

Rav Chaim Sonnenfeld stood up before Rav Shlomo [Wexler] like before a king! Reb Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld the genius from Jerusalem...(The Rav Chaim Sonnenfeld was a holy man?) The Rav Sonnenfeld? (He was a holy man?) Oh! But he was, he was a Litvak and he saw the books of Rabbainu, he was very frightened, he gave great honor to everyone who drew close to Rabbainu.

Saba on nachas from children and grandchildren learning in yeshiva

Conversations from the Life of the Saba, pg.93:

[Here Saba speaks to someone in Yiddish:] Where did we meet?..You did such good deeds..I remember this..You should have much nachas from your children, yes yes..Jewish nachas (Who's this?) From Bnei Brak, she is the woman, she did many acts of tzedaka for me without measure, she came early in the morning and brought me food, and more and more and more, what she did! She searched a lot until she found me, she brought me food every day, [and] on Shabbos (It was good?) Yes! Baruch Hashem, she has many grandchildren studying Torah, yes, yes, attending yeshivos and serving Hashem (This is in the merit of the tzedaka that she did?) Ah? Nu, certainly, certainly, charity is something...

Thanks NaaNaach for translating this excerpt from pg. 93.

pg. 335:

(Do you remember in Breslov they said, "Yisrael Ber already has no more worries about a livelihood. He brought close to Rabbainu such a rich man - Y.A." Saba, do you remember Y.A. in Tel Aviv?) Y.A. on Allenby, I met Y.A. the first time in the mikvah. Then, he was at my mikvah. I couldn't go in, hundreds of people were going in little water. I can't immerse in my mikvah. In the mikvah, I cannot immerse. How he had 1000 dollars and gave it for printing the books of Rabbainu. All the money, and he was left empty without money. After this, he got married to someone, he couldn't make a shidduch because he [only] wanted a beauty, unique in the world, that there isn't beauty like it in the world. Nu, and he took a wife..she has already passed away. She was ugly that there isn't in the world like it. So he said, "I need to take this shidduch for me." He has children from her. Everything that he had, all his money - only for the books of Rabbainu...He was by me in my house and he didn't have a wife or children. Now his wife is gone. And the children, he has good children, they learn in Bnei Brak by, what's his name..Rabbi Shimon. He [Y.A.] lives in Jerusalem? (Yes, in Jerusalem) Maybe we'll bring him here. How does he look, does he have a white beard? (Yes) We have a car, we have everything. Let's go look for Y.A. in Mekor Baruch or in Geula...His children are Breslov Hassidim learning in yeshiva. (Y.A. was by you in Uman?) Yes, with the children. He had a house in Zichron Moshe in Jerusalem, in Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv Nachum Street 5. Let's search for him to bring him to Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, Nachman MeUman...Y.A and his wife, he has 15 children...Y.A. and I were together in Jerusalem...let's have an outing in Jerusalem, we have a car, yes, we have drivers, only gasoline..we can travel day and night to publicize Rabbainu in all the Land of Israel.

pg. 250:

If I had lived in Jerusalem? (They [some of Saba's children] would have been religious?) Certainly! They would have learned in yeshivos, yes, they would have gotten married and they would have been religious, yes, they would have been religious, but I was a chacham [wise man], I said I want the responsibility to be on her, not on me, so I was a chacham and Rav Shlomo [Wexler] he screamed, he screamed at me with such screams, with anger, with strictness, "Only Jerusalem, Only Jerusalem!" I said, "What? He gives me dollars? He gives me money? What is this? Only faith and trust?!" I was a chacham, yes. I didn't listen to him and went to Tiberius and it happened, with the children and with... if only I had listened to Rav Shlomo, little by little I would have, I would have had more of an apartment, the children would have gotten married, they would have gotten married (And they would have been hereidim [very traditional Jews]?) Yes. They would have been hereidim and they would have been Torah scholars, bnei yeshivos [members of yeshivos]! I left everything, just Shlomo said to me - just faith and trust, do not leave Jerusalem for Tiberius, only faith and trust.

New Nanach Political Party

B"H as you should know, the Nanach are attempting to put Rabbainu in the Knesset in the next Israeli elections. B"H the leader of the New Nanach Political Party, Gavriel Levi, is responsible for founding the Green Leaf Party in Israel, and as such has a lot of experience and contacts. B"H the Nanach party also has a good lawyer and a great infrastructure of advertising. The next step for the Nanach party is to pay the Knesset registration fee of apx. $20,000, and then we are in business!

Today on of the friends pledged $1000.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

It takes a woman in a miniskirt to admonish the rabbi for kicking out a Jew from the synagogue

B"H amazing, the Rabbi Kremzy on behalf of Yitzchok Nissim in Montreal kicks out a Jew from eating and hanging out in a shul, because he says this makes people uncomfortable, and the rabbi goes unchecked - except for a woman who doesn't even fully keep the Shabat, and as she is wearing, or not wearing the proper attire, she spots the Rabbi with his wife and son, she puts on her shoes and in a polite and respectful manner, she admonishes him for 15 minutes!

In the 3 weeks between the 17th of Tamuz and the 10th of Av the Jews mourn the destruction of the Temples, the main cause of the destruction was the baseless hatred that existed in their camps. Nowadays many people try to impose their views on other people and when they are rejected they say what about loving a fellow Jew.... So I don't really like conjuring up this value, but recently I have seen a number of times Jews getting kicked out of shuls, I never in my life saw anything like this (except of course from the zionist state which I've seen many times forcibly remove holy Jews from the western wall - a very terrible site - but that is what we expect from the zionist state, but from simple synagogues in the exile???).

New Nanach Plates

B"H right now I'm in middle of getting insurance for my new Nanach Mobile - so I got Quebec license plate:

We already have all the rectifications, the healings and the salvations that we need, each and every one of us...

Conversations from the Life of the Saba, pg. 113-116:
He tells me the sign that only I knew about, this was a secret, not one person knew about this, yes, and he reveals to me a sign: "the 17th of Tammuz". It happened what happened, oy, oy, Master of the Universe, Master of the Universe..In any case, the point of the matter is that we need to reveal and publicize and to give ourselves over for this matter - that the entire redemption depends on Rabbainu, Reb Nachman of Breslov, to learn his books, this is every os (letter), every lesson, every word of his is such a light that he is speaking to you, speaking about what you need, all matters that pass over you, that have passed over you, that are passing over you now, and also about this person, and that person, and each and every one, and also me, each and every one, and every word that Rabbainu revealed is an all-encompassing generality of each member of Israel, what is passing over him, and what has already passed over him, his sicknesses and the healings, not just the sicknesses! He repairs, purifies and heals all the sick, all the worst ones in the world that don't have any recovery! They don't have! No tzaddik can help them, but Rabbainu, Reb Nachman said, "And I heal her". This is the end of the story of the Seven Beggars. You know about the Stories, "Sipurei Maasiyos" of Rabbainu? Yes? At the end of the story of the Seven Beggars, at the end of this story, the 6th Beggar said, the 6th Beggar told a story and said that the Princess was hit by all of the bullets with all of the poisons, yes, and she fell and became weak, "And I..." So says the Beggar, "And I heal her..." This is said on all of the people of Israel, on each and every one, "And I heal her..." She had already fallen, she took all of the bullets and fell, "And I heal her", only *I* heal her, there *is* no one who can cure this, so Rabbainu hakadosh, so the Beggar said, "And I heal her", so Rabbainu hakadosh revealed about himself that he is this Beggar who heals her, "I heal her". He said on himself, "I...", yes. We are fortunate, we already have all the rectifications, the healings and the salvations that we need, each and every one of us through Rabbainu, Reb Nachman. Only Rabbainu, Reb Nachman - he is the root of the Torah, he is the root of faith, he is the root of every member of Israel, however he is, whatever place he has fallen to, whatever place he finds himself - He takes her out, he heals her! Yes, it's really impossible to heal such a sick person. Such a sick person doesn't have, there is no cure for such a sickness. But Rabbainu, Reb Nachman, revealed that he, yes, can heal and fix everything! Yes, there are in this wondrous matters, very hidden, but it has not been revealed in the world. I remember 70 years ago, when I drew close to Rabbainu it was forbidden to learn the books of Breslov, there was a prohibition against learning the books of Breslov! I found a Breslov book but I didn't know that it was Breslov. And I started to read it, then "What are you doing? You are learning this book?" This was the first time that I heard there was Breslov in the world. I didn't know there was Breslov in the world. Now I knew there was. "You don't know that this is from the books of Breslov? It's forbidden to read it!" Baruch Hashem, today we can read [them] in every shul, yes, anyone who wants to learn. These are signs of the redemption, signs that we are standing, that we are.. According to our level of knowledge, according to our deeds, we are already, already there isn't any rectification for sick people like these, but Rabbainu, Reb Nachman, was already in the world and he is the one who can fix all of the sicknesses and all..there is no place that he can't fix and heal, yes. So when we hear this, then we need to give ourselves over to put into our hearts his holy words, his lessons and the prayers and the halachos. There is a book, the books "Lekutei Halachos", do you know about it? We need to be experts in the book Lekutei Moharan. Rabbainu hakadosh said that we need to be experts in it that we can say it by heart forwards and backwards, even backwards, so much expertise is needed in this, because this is all our vitality, each word is all our vitality, every word of his, even one word. And Rabbainu hakadosh revealed that he is hinted to in the verse, there is a verse in Tanach - "A flowing stream, source of wisdom", the first letters of which spell "Nachman". He is hinted to in this verse "A flowing stream, source of wisdom", he flows and flows and flows, "source of wisdom". There was never any wisdom like this, there still hasn't been in the world. We have the Torah and all the books of all the tzaddikim and this [Reb Nachman] is the root of all the Torah, this rises above everything! Through this we can draw close to the Torah, to know how to see the light of the Torah. In the Torah there are many powers, there is an elixir of life and the opposite, yes. And through Rabbainu hakadosh we merit to see the light of the Torah as we need to. There are in this very hidden matters, but now we are seeing that all the world even gentiles, the wise men of the nations, in the university, they are very excited about Rabbainu, Reb Nachman of Breslov, even gentiles! I have spoken with some people from London who know about this. They are always speaking about Reb Nachman of Breslov, about the Stories, about his words, yes. And we see that the world are drawing themselves to Rabbainu, Reb Nachman of Breslov! We see that there were many tzaddikim in the world - the Baal Shem Tov and his students, there were many tzaddikim. [But] They are not speaking about [them]..they always only speak about Reb Nachman of Breslov, about the Stories, about his words, yes. It's as if we only have one left in the world, Reb Nachman of Breslov. Therefore, we, the main thing to take away from this is that we need to give ourselves over to be experts in his holy words, then we will merit, but [only] with faith, we can learn and be blind, we see nothing, if it's for arrogance, I am Breslov only for arrogance that we will be experts in Lekutei Moharan?! This is the main thing - to learn so that we will know how to wage war, strategies of war, how to battle and be victorious, to subdue the evil, yes. Nu, may Hashem have compassion on us and we need great compassion.

Happy Chag Hapetek

Killing (shaming) the evil doers is a peace offering!

In this weeks Parsha - Pinchas, we see that Pinchas killed the evil doers and was thus awarded by G-d with peace! So much for those people that think that peace is attained by sweet empty words. Sometimes you just need to cut them down. The Medrash says that spilling the blood (which could mean killing out right, or shaming - when a persons blood rushes to his face) of the evil doers is like bringing an offering to G-d and brings atonement.

On that note on one of the new Saba blogs (I think), the author justifies Sabas bashing of the Rabbi's citing the sources in the halachic book "chofetz chaim" that recommend such speech when it is called for.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Be careful of honor.

Rabbainu revealed in Likutay Moharan that often when a person receives honor, it is because is the root of the soul, so the honor descended to pick him up.... Last week I saw in the news that some guy who has a restaurant that hosted President Obama died one hour after the president left, this seems like an application of the above.

Na Nachs Feast and Party on Yud Zayin BiTamuz

This year the all Nanach's ate, feasted and partied on the 17th of Tamuz in order to fulfill what it says in the Holy Petek "and on the 17th of Tamuz they will say that you have not fasted".

That is because this year the 17th of Tamuz fell out on Shabbos and the fast was pushed off to the 18th of Tamuz.

Was that me?

Sin is very humiliating (see the commentaries on Likutay Moharan Torah 6). After a person sins G"F he/she falls into a rut, where he revels in the aura of the sin with fallen spirit not ready to repent. This is also a facit of arrogance, thinking of himself as being above sin, and that due to his prestige and importance his transgression is so fatal that he is barred from repentence. This is the evil inclination at its best working to wreak maximum havoc in his brain. Confronting one's sins, one must bear the humiliation with silence and humility, this in effect slaughters the evil inclination and is the first step of the infinite process of repentence which is the infinite delight of the future worlds.

Laughing and screaming

HH. Saba was once with a big chevra and he was laughing and laughing, in the midst of this he appeared to drop something and crawled under the table to pick it up. Some friends were anxious to great Saba so they also bent down to go under the table, they saw Saba under the table with his face contorted in a silent scream, apparently the fallen object was just a ruse for him to be able to secretly scream out to HY (this story was told to me by E.C. who provided more details). Shimon Elyashuv told me a similar story with Saba (also much more detailed), someone came to Saba and told him of some type of suffering he was undergoing and Saba was laughing and laughing, however every once in the while he would bend over - and someone detected that when his face was not in the line of view of those before him, it was contorted in a silent scream. S.E. also told me that after Shlomo Carlbach and Saba met in a room where they spoke for some hours, Shlomo Carlbach came out with red eyes, and he said that he never knew anyone like Saba that was able to laugh and cry at the same time.
