In Uman by Rabbainu

Today the "merkaz" (people who took charge of the tzion) had the ukrainians remove all the Nanach stickers from the tzion (with the exception of a very few that escaped - including one large Ark of Nanach). When they had done most of their destruction, there was a power failure, the city closed down the electricity! So trying to rectify the problem I wrote Nanach in many places in the B"M of the tzion, there were one or two objections, which led to a very ardent singing of Nanach and extremely festive dancing for probably about 20 minutes, but alas it was too late. Right now they are trying to run electricity from across the street.

This action was followed by the wedding of Shimon B.

Great blessings of NNNNM!

B"H Givald new Nanach song

B"H the first part of this song is almost identical to R' Shlomo Carlbachs song "Yisburach Shimcha" so I called this song "Nanach Yisburach."

B"H a great new Nanach song in English

free download:

We want peace - give us peace.
We want peace - give us peace - without police.

Rabbi Nachman gives us peace
soft like white fleece, don't wait to decease, welcome the white geese.

Nanach doesn't need no priest, Breslov gives you the biggest piece, the attention of a favorite niece, Nanach is all joy love and peace

enemies can only meet when there is great joy and happiness, these are the key to open and mend torn hearts and bitter rifts

Nanach is the key to peace, to put the puzzle together in one piece, satisfy all at the table, actualize what you thought could only be fable

B"H a new Nanach song about Shalom - Peace

Rabbainu taught that peace can be achieved only through happiness - the actual lyrics can be found on the Hebrew

Receiving the Torah is all about Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman

Our holy sages taught (tractate Shabos 88) that at the giving of the Torah, H"Y held a mountain over the heads of the Children of Israel and told them that if they accepted the Torah all is well, if not "there will be your burial". The commentaries are asking why this coercion was necessary, the verses of the Torah already provided us with Children of Israel accepting very readily all of the Torah. The Or Hachaim says that the Israelites had only accepted the actual word of God that they would hear then, but all the consecutive orders that would be coming through the tzadik, they had not accepted, because this is the acceptance of the infinite.
With this we can understand why H"Y told them "there you will be buried" and not "here you....", because although H"Y was threatening them right then, the actual penalty would be if and when the Israelites would turn away from accepting the Tzadik. This is why the word Petek can be deciphered (in the function of noatrikun, similar to acronym) to mean, "Poh tihiye kivuraschem" - HERE will be your burial. Because the Petek is the actual critical point of determination if the Jews will be loyal to follow the directions of the Tzadik.

A look into the amazing hashgacha of Saba's history

Saba said:

Until I left Karlin, don't ask! When I merited to draw close to Rabbainu, who knows?! Nu, the husks that come first, that I had from Karlin, from this I had confusion, there are admurs that are outside the Holy Land, there weren't admurs in the Land of Israel, so I thought, before the coming of the Messiah, as long as the Messiah has not arrived, then the admurs will be outside of the Holy Land, they cannot come to the Land of Israel, [due to] their holiness. I considered all the admurs holy, but Karlin as holy of holies. But thank G-d, the blessed G-d did miracles for me, that I merited to draw close to Rabbainu, I merited to understand, to see, and to feel what Judaism is, and what Torah is, yes. But I did not have anyone to guide me, I did not have Rabbainu, I did not know about Rabbainu. Afterwards, when I merited to draw close, [but] then what did I know? I knew what I know now? But every piece of knowledge that I merited to feel the truth, I felt this, such truth, there is nothing similar!, until I merited to part with Karlin and all the husks. Yes...

B"H one of the Nanach told me that it is worth it to check out who the admur of Karlin was at that time. So first of all I discovered something amazing, the 2nd admur of Karlin, R' Shlomo was shot by the kozacks on the 17th of Tamuz (1792) and he died six days later on  the 22nd of Tamuz! - This is awesome because Saba stumbled and ate on the 17th of Tamuz and lay as if dead for 6 days when he received the Petek! (In the world of Chasidus it is said that R' Shlomo was a potential of the Messiah of Yosef, which tradition maintains may be killed, and we pray daily for his safety).

Before Saba was born Karlin didn't actually have an admur, because one admur died young leaving a son aged 4, the reigns were given to the son at his bar mitzva, 10th of Kislev 1881. Saba was born in 1888 (if he lived till 106), I think also in Kislev. The admur was called, Rabbi Yisroel HaYenuka (suckling) of Stulin. He died on Rosh Hashana  1922 - right before Saba got the Petek!

Rebuilding Yerushalayim and Tefilah

ל"ה - הלכות ערלה ד:ג

(Painting by Margarita Levine)

Once a person is able to subdue his three principle inclinations for sexual immorality, food, and money, which correspond to the three years of the orlah when the fruit of such a tree is forbidden to be eaten, he then merits the concept of rebuilding Yerushalayim.  This relates to complete fear of God, which depends on one's heart.  Therefore, after the first three years of orlah one must bring the first fruits to Yerushalayim, which are a concept of complete fear that a person merits because he cast away his evil urges.    He succeeds to cast away his evil urges because he did not partake of the orlah fruit.  And, by rebuilding Yerushalayim one merits tefilah.  On the fourth year all of one's fruits "shall be holy and will give praise to Hashem." (Vayikra 19:24)  "Holy and will give praise" refers specifically to prayer, which consists of praise to Hashem.  A person merits prayer by helping to rebuild Yerushalayim and subduing his three main urges.

Saba and his jolly men

One of the people who was Saba for a long time was "Morris" (Moshe) Shushan n"y, Moshe was some sort of Dayan (judge) before coming close to Saba (I don't know exactly). His family resented his going over to Saba. People beat him mercilessly, and one of the chaverim (maybe Aron) suggested to Saba that maybe it this was an indication or incentive for Moshe to return to France and spread Nanach there, Saba agreed, and he is credited with the drawing close and brainwashing of all the early French Nanach (including ambush).

Moshe spent 11 months with Saba in America. Moshe is credited for gaining the meeting of Saba with R' Moshe Feinstein. RMF's son, who was a rosh yeshiva (dean) in his father's yeshiva, did not want to grant Saba the visit, and he told Moshe to stop calling. Moshe asked Saba permission to use some of his own initiative and he continued calling. There's more to the story, sorry I hate to do this to you, but maybe not everything should be printed. Moshe has a lot of stuff like that which he tells chaverim on condition that they are careful who they give it over to. In any event Moshe succeeded in convincing the son to make the meeting, and the son warned them to come on time, which of course they didn't. Saba with Moshe and Sharon T. where ushered into the room with RMF, there were other rabbis sitting, and Saba was quiet. Moshe understood that Saba didn't want them there so he basically kicked them out (there is a detailed recounting of this....). Saba told RMF that they should speak in Hebrew because the people with him didn't understand Yiddish. Moshe said, that if there would be a picture of how RMF bent his head to receive a blessing from Saba, it would be 'bitul habechira' (nullification of free will).

While they were in America, Saba sensed that Morris had gotten a little depressed, Morris denied it saying he was broken hearted (Rabbainu discusses the distinction), but Saba was insistent, and Saba told him that it would do him no good to be depressed, it would not mitigate the judgements, only through happiness. Saba himself, although he was racked with pains and suffering, would always appear to be happy, he could be heard in his room making all types of sounds and laughter in order to induce happiness. On occasion one could catch a glimpse of Saba's face full of pain, but Saba would immediately replace his "face" with a happy countenance, covering up all the agony.

Often Saba appeared to be sleeping, and when the chaverim first hooked up with him, they would "wake" him to inform him of events, but they soon figured out that Saba new exactly what was going on and they were careful not to disturb him, they had trepidation from him. Saba really like Aron Patz OBM, and Aron had the most holy azus (brazeness) to wake Saba or urge Saba to do something. Once Sharon T. was busted when he was trying to get to Uman, being that he was in the army it was forbidden so he was using a fake passport, and was caught. When the chaverim told Saba, he sighed and continued to get ready for bed. Aron Patz told Saba that Saba had to do something, and Saba was like what can I do, but Aron would not have that, and he told Saba that he (a.p.) knew full well that Saba was capable of saving Sharon. Aron took Saba out of bed, put some type of garment or blanket over him, and rushed him to the court hearing. There is a very detailed recounting of the what went down [Sharon had told the judge that Saba was his Rabbi, so the judge asked Saba if Saba was Sharon's Rabbi, and Saba said, no - they were friends], Sharon was looking at a prison sentence of 15 year R"L, and he walked free B"H. Sharon subsequently was zoche to go to Uman.

So Aron Patz OBM would disturb Saba whenever necessary, however it came with a price, when ever he would disturb Saba he found himself confronted with all types of judgements, so he wasn't rash in doing so. He looked for some alternative methods of gaining Saba's awareness, and drawing upon an idea he saw that tzadikim are very sensitive to the mezuza even when they are asleep, he tried covering the mezuza in the room Saba was sleeping - Saba immediately jumped up completely!

Moshe told over how they once took Saba through Mea SheUrim, and Saba....

New Publications

B"H since the passing of Aron Patz OBM literally thousands and thousands of the holy Nanach books have been published, and are in the process of publication, for free dissemination. Hafatza has taken on larger proportions, B"H. It is hard for me to update every new publication, but everyone is invited to get into the loop - get involved and find out from the source. money at work

B"H has put over $1000 towards a special publication of the Petek - Note of Redemption, which will also serve as a type of business card promoting and the New Nanach Political Party. B"H each Petek will cost about 5 agurot (a little more than a cent), and B"H we will be publishing - for starters - over 100,000.

Daf Yomi Nanach

B"H about 2 weeks ago I started a new blog with the goal of presenting an explanation of the daf yomi (the daily folio/page of the Babalonian Talmud) or a portion of the daf yomi based on a teaching of our master Rabbi Nachman of Breslov - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

Saba said that in Likutay Halachos we see how Rabbi Nussun learned the Talmud, so I think it's a good idea for us to aspire to the proper approach of learning the Talmud - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

Bear in mind that the Hebrew word Talmud has the numerical value of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

BH Very busy times with Nanach

It is almost Shabos so I can't write very much, but B"H there has been great Nanach developments and achievements in the last few days. A new publication of the Story Tales (a thin volume without the Conversations of Saba and Tikun Haklali) was published, a 2,000, for free hafatza. A new unique cover was designed, and it is very impressive B"H. The Nanach putting it out call themselves "The office of publicizing Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman LTD."
This year in Meron for Lag Buomer at first glance looked like there was a smaller turn out, but the fact of the matter was that B"H the grounds were expanded giving much more space. Also as the night merged into day and the day progressed the hafatza got better and better and went almost till midnight of the second day.
There's more but I mamash gotto go, B"H next week.

Perfect Faith In Oneself

ל"ה - הלכות נחלות ד:ג

(Painting by Marc Chagall)

One must have perfect faith in Hashem - believing that He is the Creator of everything, that He controls and watches over everything, and that He has the power to change the course of events in any way He wishes and bless us with everything good.

And, just as one must have perfect faith in Hashem, so too must one have perfect faith in oneself.  One must have perfect faith that Hashem listens and attends to every single word spoken by every single Jew - even the lowest of the low.  Every single Jew has the power to accomplish what he needs through praying to Hashem truly and sincerely, as it is written, "Hashem is close to all who call Him." (Psalms 14:18)

Today's Choshen Mishpat

ל"ה - הלכות יין נסך ג:ד

The invention of the printing press has given us the ability to publish more and more of the writings of the tzaddikim, whose teachings provide us with the guidance we need to fulfill the Torah in practice and attain true spirituality.  The printing press gives us the means of printing and distributing many, many books at a minimal price so that everyone in search of Godliness can find an antidote to his personal malaise.

The printing press bears comparison with the breastplate of the Kohen HaGadol, which was studded with twelve precious stones, each of which was engraved with the name of one of the Twelve Tribes of Yisrael.  When a Jew needed advice or an answer to a question he would sanctify himself and pray, and then draw near to the Kohen HaGadol.  The letters engraved on the stones of the breastplate would then shine to him one after the other, spelling out the answer he hoped for. (Yoma 73b)  The Twelve Tribes constitute klal Yisrael as a whole.  Each Jew requires a different approach to his problems and a unique solution.  In our times, the ideas and answers each one needs are supplied by the many books produced by the printing press, the letters of which correspond to the letters engraved on the breastplate of the Kohen HaGadol.  The letters shine and radiate when one approaches them properly for results.

Note of Redemption

The damnation of those who read (not to mention) study science and philosophy

It is well known that Rabbi Nussun was trained by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov to see only the good in his fellow Jews, to judge them favorably, and encourage them. Rabbi Nussun gained recognition for doing this even on people who were actively seeking to kill him! Yet when it comes to Jews studying or even reading science Rabbi Nussun puts down the most harsh and hideous curses and castigation. E.g. see Likutay Tefilos (collection of prayers 36):

May Your innards be aroused on Your children the sheep of Your flock, and protect us in this hard time at the heels of the Messiah, and save and break free our souls and the souls of our sons and daughters (specifically enumerating both male and female children) that we should never be involved with any science what so ever. And give us the strength that we should merit to humble, and to break, and to nullify, and to uproot, all the heretics and apostates from the world. They should be erased from the book of life, and they should not be inscribed with the righteous. And all those who are involved in philosophy (even if it was authored by holy rabbis) and analyzing of science, there names and remembrance should be blotted out from the world. G-d should cut down any person who is involved in their analyzing and their way, to be barren and destroyed. His children should be orphaned and his wife widowed. His end should be cut down, and the next generation as well, their named should be blotted out. Their father's sins should be remembered before God, and his mother's sins should not be erased. They should be before God always, and He should abolish their remembrance from the land. And their logic and opinions should be nullified from the world, and they should never hence arise in people's conscious, and their names should not be remembered.

Rabbi Nussun writes at great length, study and pray his holy words, that help illuminate to us how far we have sunken and been effected by the flood of heresy in our days. We should merit to be influenced only by the holy Torah, and go in the pleasant, luminous, and intelligent ways of the Torah.

Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Hilula of Eli Hakohen - see the good

Today is the yartzeit of Eli Hakohen.

When Chana, the mother of the Prophet Shmuel, was praying in the Beis Hamikdash to have children, she prayed with such intensity causing Eli, the High Priest, to wonder about her character, checking the Urim Vitumim (the Divine Name in the breastplate caused the letters to illuminate) he was shown the letters, Shin, Chuf, Resh, and Hey, Eli understood this to mean that she was a "ShiKuRA" (drunk), and he confronted her and chastised her as such, Chana replied with great humility, that this was not the case God forbid, rather she was "KiShaiRA" (kosher - proper), showing Eli a propitious way of permutating the letters (this is an explanation given by the Vilna Gaon).

From here we see how what Rabbainu stressed over and over again, that one should always be looking to see the good.

Today is also the yartzeit of the Rif, one of the commentaries specifically recommended by Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, that one should desire and aspire to learn in completion every year (Sichos Huran 76).

The Rif's commentary is usually found in the back of the Talmud, it is usually just a summation of the halachic outcome of the Talmuds discussions and debates, the exact word choice (even to the letters) the Rif uses, and what he chooses to include or omit, often set the Halacha. The Rambam's decisions usually follow the Rif, who was his rebbe's rebbe (i.e. the rebbe of the Ri Migash)

In Chasidic lure it is known that certain hasidim would read the Rif with great diligence thus meriting to be visited and to be taught by the Rif himself as they read his holy commentary.

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT TODAY - in the scheme of the Counting of the Omer - IS "NETZACH of NETZACH" - the sefira associated to our master - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Saba Yisroel - from an ongoing translation

The first fridge that makes ice:

Once, a relative from Paris came. There were Turks, by us there were Turks. So the whole family, she tells my mother, “by us in Paris there is a refrigerator that makes ice, and it is not necessary to buy.” I know? I went to buy ice in the big factory, there were many workers, how is it possible? I asked her, “the factory for the ice is big, and has workers, so how does a small refrigerator make ice?” So she said to me, “don't be amazed, in my house there is such a refrigerator, I have such a refrigerator.” I didn't want to believe. (If they would have told you 70 years ago, that there would be a country with tanks and airplanes, you would tell them that they were crazy?) If they would have told me 70 years ago that Breslov would prevail? After 70 years? So I would have said, “they are crazy! They don't know what they are talking about! How is such a thing possible?!” There was fear to touch a book of Breslov. To touch the table that a Breslov book rested upon, they feared to touch the table, they were very stringent, that they wouldn't - not only did they not want to touch a book, even the table upon which the book rested, he was very stringent. Nu? And now? One can purchase the book of Breslov everywhere, today they buy, they buy thank God. I said, “Good, this is the whole redemption. But how will the redemption come? They don't want to touch a book of Breslov? What will be? What will be?” So now I am alive, and I see that they are all embarrassed. Breslov, the more time transpires, the more important, and more it goes and grows and get bigger, there are publications and purchases.
