Tonight is the yartzheit of the Noam Elimelech - R' Elimelech of Lizhinsk. Rabbi Nachman said that R' Elimelech was much greater than his book. This always perplexed me, because that would be kind of obvious being that the NE was written by R' Elimelech's son, but maybe that wasn't known then and Rabbi Nachman understood that through Divine Inspiration.
Just now by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai I met an old "Sho-el Umaishiv" from my yeshiva days, he told me that he was sad to see me this way, so I told him that his sadness will be a yireeda litzorech aliyah (descent for the sake of ascent). In any event I told him that tonight was the yartzheit of the NE, so he shrugged his shoulders and made a face - what's the difference, so I told him, "the Tzetel Kuttun" (a page of direction how a person should conduct himself during the day), to this he got very excited, speaking of how the NE says how a person should constantly imagine jumping into a fire for the sake of sanctifying the name of H"Y. B"H, that's a good note that I'll end with. The main thing is Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!
