It was Rabbi Nachman’s last Rosh Hashanah in his physical lifetime, and the first Rosh Hashanah he spent in Uman (in Ukraine). He became gravely ill over Rosh Hashanah, coughing up copious blood due to tuberculosis. Despite this he said this discourse, his last. He passed away several days later, 4thday Sukkot, 1810, z"tzukl z"yaa (See Chayey Moharan).
1. The Proper Rebuker needs the Voice that is like the River, like the Shofar, aspect of the simple, double, triple, quadruple Song: Y Y”K YK”W YKW”K.
2. To attain this voice is through prayer, which must be in compassion and pleading, which depends on Knowledge. When the Other Side feeds on our Knowledge then Knowledge is blemished and then cravings come and prayers are in the aspect of judgement. The Other Side swallows these prayers.
3. In that case we need a Prayer Master who can pray in the aspect of judgement, aspect of Pinchas. The Other Side will swallow his prayer but will be forced to vomit it out along with all the holinesses it devoured. Converts are made.
4. Converts are the aspect of Thunder, and the glory of Hashem is publicized by them.
5. Through revelation of God’s glory, prophecy is spread. But the Exile is like annulment of prophecy.
6. Revelation of God’s glory, like the shining forth of the sun, leads to healing and forgiveness of sins, for sins are like darkness. All this is attained by prayer, which gets multiplied by adding people. But when the prayer is not fit, the Tzaddiq may suffer for the people, God forbid.
7. Through the spread of prophecy, the imagination is repaired, and so is faith.
8. So we must beg Hashem for the true Leader who has the prophetic spirit.
9. And via faith will be renewal of the world to come, which is through mercies.
10. Then the entire world will be conducted in the aspect of Supervision, like the Land of Israel is, and then the New Song will be awoken, which is the melody of Supervision, aspect of Wonders. Mashiach and repair of the smell are attained.
11. This is aspect of Rosh Hashanah, when the prayer is aspect of judgment. This relates to repair of the head and knowledge and to the shofar blasts and the New Song and Tishrei.
12. The lung relates to all these aspects, i.e. the Knowledge, converts, glory, prophecy, imagination, renewal of the world, the New Song, repair of smell and awe. Words from Saba - from a new and ongoing translation
In any event, afterwords my condition improved, so I said to my mother, “I am very weak, I need a little meat with soup.” she gave me three coins, the equivalent of today's three grueshim, I went to the Hotel Shefer where the mother of Yisroel Shefer (Saba Yisroel's son-in-law, today the manager of advisors to the president of Israel) was. She was a good cook, yes. She (mother) gave me three gruesh to buy soup with a piece of meat, a piece of chicken. Nu Nu, I tasted the soup, I didn't taste soup at home in along time due to the dire poverty, I felt a good taste, yes. But H”Y returned to me my soul with miracles, I saw this a many times, miracles, miracles, H”Y showed me that he gives me to live. Yes. (So this healed you?) Yes, but she gave me a little, maybe two or three times. I needed many times, a week or two weeks, I am living by miracle. There was dire poverty and they accepted everything with love and happiness, father and mother … yes.

B"H Uman is already booming, teeming with masses of pilgrims who have journeyed from all over the world to bind their souls to Our Master Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.
This year Shiner N"Y, may H'Y bless him even more, has expanded his operations signifigantly, constructing huge halls to accomodate thousands of people. There is plenty of free food, good stuff B"H. Shiner also has a team of 3 dj's busy on their laptops mixing the music. He is also providing something like 10 channels of free wifi. These are just some of his actions for Rabbainu. May H"Y bless him. In addition there are many other people dishing out free food, and there's cake and coffee/tea, B"H. Of course there are many new restaurants offering all types of menus from shwarma to pizza and fancy coffee. There are also mini-marts.
Our Nanach rock star from Tel Aviv, Adi Ran N"Y has made it into the news with his tent campaign he is running from facebook.
What a festival! Where can you constantly keep bumping into great amazing people, B"H! From the great joy one is able to open his heart....

Also, I remember when I was two years old, then I was very sick, and I had a war with the angel of death. I felt like I was about to die, as a child younger than 10. In any event, I was very sick and I became very weak, because someone who is sick, it is necessary to give him something to bring life to his soul. When we speak of Our Holy Master, Rabbi Nussun (said -), and all the various praises that we say, they do not reach even a drop in the ocean of their grandeur, yes. Rabbi Nussun said this. I say just the words of Rabbi Nussun, yes. However, Rabbi Yisroel Karduner and the followers of Our Master, it is necessary to speak of them, yes, but not everything. Everything is just Our Master, it is he, he who rose over everything/ The main thing is Our Master. If only there was truth in the world, and our fellow followers... and they would speak of this, and publicize the name of Our Master, what Our Master is, redemption would have came already' the world would have already been drawn to Our Master. But the falsehood divides and blinds, the falsehood blinds the eyes, yes. But H”Y – we are forbidden to contemplate/doubt/question H”Y... yes, the time will come... more... yes, it will come, the time will come He will remove the falsehood from the world and He will reveal and it will be revealed the truth, yes. Just we must believe and strengthen ourselves with/in prayer. To pray, just like that, to speak with H”Y from the lips, to study from a book or to say Likutay Tefilos, what is written in the book.
Shabbos in Uman
This past Shabbos there reputedly were 1200 people by Rabbainu.
B"H 10's of thousands of hasidim will be arriving in the next few days.
There were close to 10,000 discounted tickets sold ($350 and $470) from one travel agency alone. So B"H maybe we'll see 100,000 this year.
B"H next year in Jerusalem, if not with the Messiah, at least with the holy tomb of Rabbainu.

This Weeks Torah Portion - Parshas Neetzuvim (Standing)
The Parsha starts -אתם נצבים היום כולכם לפני ה' אלהיכם ראשיכם שבטיכם זקניכם כל איש ישראל Attem Neetzuvim Hayom Koolchem - You are all standing today before Hashem Your G-d, your heads of the tribes your elders etc.. This is a major historical event, the Jews making a covenant with God. The first four letters have the gimatria, numerical value of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!
The acronym of the first letters (if we put the כ and ל together to make a נ), spell out the words אנה אני - where am I? - these are the words that Reuvain said when he went to save Yosef and saw that he was too late. There is a verse in the morning prayer of Shachris, אל נקמות ה' אל נקמות הופיע, the Arizal revealed that one should have in mind, when saying these words, that their acronym is אני אנה, to rectify the sin of the selling of Yosef. This is the rectification of accepting the leadership of the true Tzadik, Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.
The word אלהיכם (your God) has the numerical value of אב"י הנח"ל the title of the book of letters that Saba Yisroel wrote to the president of Israel, Zalman Shazar, an aspect of a leader of Israel, the acronym of the three words that come next, ראשיכם שבטיכם זקניכם, spell out Shazar.
This is a book in which Saba sets a covenant of love and faith between himself and Shazar and all of Israel.
The first verses of this Parsha delineate 10 distinct groups in Israel, from the heads to the water carriers, these correspond to the ten types of song that are included in the song that is single, double, triple, quadruple (= 10), Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Anyone know if there are any good iPhone applications for Rabbeinu's sfarim. i didn't see anything other than the tikkun haklali in the itunes store. It shouldn't be too hard to put together an application. I've already put the Zohar, Shas Bavli, the Shulchan Aruch, and other sfarim on my phone..aval bli Rabbeinu can one really do anything? Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.
Shlomo Carlbach meeting Saba Yisroel
In 1983 (not 100%) E.M. Klien, who resides now in the settlement of Nachleyail, was sitting in a resturaunt in Manhatten (in the 70's) and R' Shlomo Carlbach walked in and after greeting him etc. R' Shlomo asked E.M.K. to take him to see "an alter yid" (an old Jew). E.M.K. drove R' Shlomo to a shtiebel in Brooklyn (he told me the name but I forgot, it has the word Netz in it), there they found Saba Yisroel and a few chevra, and Dov Shurun with recording equipment. Saba sat down with R' Shlomo and they spoke for a bit (didn't get an exact time on this, but maybe even for a half an hour, but I really don't know). No one there really appreciated the signifigance of this meeting (at that time Saba was still unknown, and they probably didn't know yiddish) so no one eavesdropped or tried to join.
The recordings we have of R' Shlomo singing the Petek and conducting a radio interview with Dov Shurun are from a different time.
Why people can't handle being alone
Rabbainu revealed that there is an inner struggle taking place inside each person, that is why people in solitary confinement go crazy, because each person contains in him/herself elements and representation of all the 70 nations, aspects of all the different types of desires and lusts. When a person is amongst other people the different elements spread out and are concentrated on the people most suited to their aspect, thus one person will be possessed with the spirit of one nation, and another person a different nation. When a person is alone all the nations play themselves out in him and if he can't bring peace to them, he will not be able to have inner peace, and he will l"u go crazy.
R' Shmuel Horowitz, Saba Yisroel's good friend, was caught by the Russians when he was trying to return to Israel from Uman, they charged him of spying (Israel was under the Turks who were at war with Russia) and he was put in solitary confinement for more than 60 days, in inhumane conditions. R' Shmuel Horowitz writes that he never was zoche (merit) to have such amazing hisbodidus!

this past Shabbos a friend of mine pointed out that Na Nach means "please rest," which makes perfect sense because we know that the true Tzadik is the aspect of Shabbos. therefore we should certainly say Na Nach a lot on Shabbos and attach ourselves to the true Tzadik, Rabeinu haKadosh, Nachal Novea M'kor Chochma, Rabeinu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman :)

B"H yesterday evening there was a little gathering of Nanach, who are united in their understanding that the entire redemption is contingent of the dissemination and publicity of Rabbainu Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, better known as Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.
B"H there are many publications of the holy books of Rabbainu, and there are many organizations committed to disseminating their versions of Rabbainu. The meeting last night was composed of people who feel that there is much more urgency in the matter. Aron Patz n"y, one of the first people to join Saba as Saba left the old age home, recounted amazing stories of Saba and stressed that the main thing that is expected of us is to give everything we have.... Aron who's name is alluded to in the Petek (as Saba said), illuminated the issue, making it very clear that the matter of publication and publicizing Rabbainu is not just an important project blah blah blah, but it is something that our very lives and the very existence of everyone in the world is completely dependent upon. We should not get caught up worrying where the money is going to come from or how to sell or how to distribute; we just have to go full speed ahead, and all the issues will iron themselves out.
B"H recently from this group at our meeting, withing the last few months, 10's of thousands of books and booklets have been published and distributed. Just regular ordinary Nanach, doing what they can. This is just the beginning B"H.
Of course anyone who has any ideas or would like to contribute in any form; time, money, talent, or any other way should contact us.
Right now B"H we (the above mentioned group together with nanach.net) has money for a full publication of Rabbainu's stories with a few chapters of Saba and Tikun Haklali. What is holding us back is the actual translation, we are looking for volunteers to do translation - we only need between 100-200 pages, so even if you could only do 10 pages, that would be great help. B"H as soon as we have the translation it will be formatted quickly and published immediately - at least 1000 copies (which will be given out for free or sold at the cost price of $2 or less per book - yes that is what they should be selling for). Once we have this started B"H we will be able to republish over and over again, and we project that we will B"H be printing thousands and thousands.
Every single person in the world needs the books of Rabbainu, every single person in America, every single person in Canada, every single person where ever they are, what ever language they speak we need to provide them with the holy joyful ways of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, and this is very critical and urgent, it must be done as soon as possible, if only we would have done it already!
Put aside all your worries, if they are actual worries, give yourself to the dissemination of Rabbainu and you will see salvation guaranteed. And if they are worries that are just a hindrance to your focus on hafatza, forget about them, and jump in full force into Nanach! (Patz had some great stories that showed this reality).
B"H there is a three volume biography of Saba that is in the making which the above group is working to see published a.s.a.p.. This is an ongoing decade long collection.

Parshas Key Saytzai
This weeks parsha, Torah portion, is Key Saytzai - When you go out to war. The word 'saytzai' - go out - has the gimatria, numerical value, of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman. The verse is teaching us that only when one "goes out", then there is war. There is a famous verse in one of the last chapters of the Torah (31:17) על כי אין אלהי בקרבי מצאוני הרעות האלה - because God is not inside of me I was beset with all these evils, this means that we must find God insider of ourselves. Typicaly when we turn to God we look outside of ourselves, we may acknowledge His Sovereinity but we see Him as outside of ourselves, this is a perspective that puts as at war. We must see God commanding us from inside of us, ruling our hearts and minds, in this perspective we are working at making peace.
Rabbainu revealed in Likutay Moharan that the word 'saytzai' conotates doing business, as it is used by Zevulun, and also in Likutay Moharan, Rabbainu revealed that music is an aspect of business (which is called 'massa umattan' lift and give, which is like music), music is the aspect of Levi. Rabbainu makes it clear that even though the business of Zevulun was done for the sake of Heaven and the profits were used to support Yissocher who was completely devoted to studying Torah, even still Yissocher's devotion is higher. Even still the Torah says that Yissocher is in tents, where as Zevulun means a permanent dwelling, which is really the aspect of Levi (Hapam Yilave Eeshey, and Leviites where serving in the Bais Zevul), for raising the sparks can put them at the highest levels.
From here we see two alternative devotions that build the House of the Lord on contrasting ends of the spectrum. On one side we have business and war, in the middle we have Torah study (Kav HuEmtzaey - middle column), and on the other side we have the ecstasy of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman (usually music is considered to be on the left column, however Nanach is the "song of chesed - kindness", thus placing it on the right column, this is also the distinction between previous songs which were feminine - Shira Chudasha, where as Na Nach is the Shir Chudash - masculine).
B"H shortly after posting this Dvar Torah I was called up to the Torah for the reading of this verse (which is usually allotted to a Kohen - priest, but if there is no Kohen present it can be given to anyone), which seems to be an approbation to what I wrote B"H.

Awaiting Mushiach
Jews have been waiting for the Messiah for thousands of years. The christians decided that the messiah already came, and somehow failed to bring real salvation to the world, as the world has seen untold enormous suffering since his supposed coming, and directly because of his supposed coming. Recently many christians have shown their solidarity with Israel and the Jews. Groups like the IFCJ have donated millions of dollars to Israel and Jews around the world. There is definitely a very positive aspect to this, it is certainly messianic in the point that they recognize the importance of the Jewish faith. It seems however, that with their money they have lent their values to many Jews who have entered the delusion that we are living G"f in post messianic era. Many people have sunken into deep "chuchmos" - (wisdoms), trying to grapple with this delusion, to explain how the Messiah could have already came. Rabbainu warned very strongly against "chuchmos". The Messiah knows how to do his job! When he comes and he wants us to know, he will let us know! In the meantime, Saba said that it used to be that the main thing was Mushiach Mushiach, but now the main thing is Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!
3 daily prayers even for gentiles
This Shabos I was studying Likutay Halachos (Collection of Laws - Rabbi Nussuns explains the laws in light of the Torah of Rabbi Nachman), at the end of the Laws of Mincha. Rabbi Nussun writes that the Avos - forefathers, Abraham Isaac and Jacob, who canonized the 3 daily prayers (Abraham - Shacharis - the morning prayer. Isaac - Mincha - the afternoon prayer. Jacob - Maariv - the night prayer) did so for the entire world. From this it would seem that the 3 daily prayers are geared even for gentiles.

Doctors - Oy Vay!
Binyumin from Jerusalem showed me that in last weeks Parsha (Torah portion) RiAy the Torah enumerates the impure birds, one of which is called the "duecheefas" (Deuteronomy 14:18), Rash"i says that in the vernacular this called "huroafay" - the Hebrew word for doctor!
In today's news attention was given to a new study http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/233713.php that shows that over 60% of the clothing worn by doctors and nurses host a barrage of dangerous bacteria. This substantiates Rabbainu's warning to stay away from doctors, and reminds of the Talmudic adage: The best of doctors is bound for hell.

God Says: I will return from Bushan, I will return from the depths of the ocean
This is a verse in Psalms (Tehilim 68). The Medrish relates how the children taken into captivity for p. by the Romans learned from this verse that even if they would throw themselves into the depths of the sea, God would ultimately resurrect them. This is a lesson Rabbi Nachman wanted to instill in the world.
The word BuShaN is the acronym: [Rabbi] Nachman Ben (son of) Simcha! The word Usheev - I will return - is the acronym: Yisroel Ber (son of) Eizik Shlomo - Saba Yisroel!
Aleph Samech added that the word Usheev - I will return - which is the acronym of Saba's name, is also the acronym for the famous words of Rabbainu: Ain Shum Yeiush BuOlam - There is utterly no despair in the world!
