Saba predictions

According to M.G. there is a tape recording of Saba predicting the earthquakes in Japan. Supposedly Saba told his daughter Tzipora many things that would happen after his death. It is rumored that he predicted that there would be a time that people would be scared to walk in the streets (of Israel, I think).

This Weeks Torah Portion - Parshas Kedoshim

In this weeks parsha God commands us לא תשנא את אחיך בלבבך הוכח תוכיח את עמיתך ולא תשא עליו חטא (beginning verse 17), do not hate your brother in your heart, chastise rebuke your friend and do not bear on him iniquity. Rabbi Nachman teacheas in Likutay Moharan (II, Torah 8) that when a person rebukes someone, even if he criticizes himself, he makes the that person smell bad, just like when you rub and stir something with a bad odor, so too when you address a person's sins and shortcomings you stir up their bad odor. Rabbi Nachman teaches that there is one way to rebuke that causes a person to smell better! This is through the song that is Single, Double, Triple, Quadruple - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman! When a person hears this song he is given the courage to confront his shortcomings in a positive fashion and he is infused with the courage to turn everything to good.

It is no wonder therefor to find that the gimatria - numerical value for הוכח תוכיח - chastise, rebuke - (with the letters) equals - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!
There are 2 other gimatrias that I discovered here, you can find them on the Hebrew na-nach.net

"And do not bear on him iniquity" Rashi explains, do not whiten his face (embarrass him) in public" the word public רבים can be read also as Rabbis, that is to say that only with Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman (תלבי"ן) can this commandment be properly fulfilled.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Stories of Saba and Rabbi Yisroel Karduner ZY"U by Rashbi

On Sunday by Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai I met a grandson of R' Shmuel Horowitz. He told me that once when he was younger he saw Saba Yisroel screaming in prayer, Saba perceived that he was concerned, Saba turned to him and said, "don't fear, I AM STRONG (saying the last words very emphatically in a semi roar)".

Saba also told him that once Saba saw Rabbi Yisroel Karduner standing by Rabbi Shimon's tomb upstairs near the box for petitions, saying over and over again "Rabbainu, Rabbainu, Rabbainu" with indescribable pleasantness, for 3 hours, and then Rabbi Yisroel walked away.

What I learned this Pesach

What I learned this Pesach

I went to the Kotel during Pesach and as soon as I arrived I saw my friend Gedalia MSG. We shared some Torah and he told me the gematria of Pesach is 148 Nachman, which I hadn’t known before. I immediately thought then it is also gematria קמח (flour). That was interesting because Pesach is all about eating matzah, that is, how we use flour. So this got me thinking all the rest of Pesach what the deeper meaning of this was.

I spent a lot of time recently reading and reflecting on Pesach ג in Lekutei Halachot. Here Reb Noson explains that the spiritual dimension of Pesach centers around the battle between the ruach d’kedusha of Moshe Rabbeinu and the the ruach d’tumah of Egypt, ruled by Pharaoah and under the dominion of Esau.

This is part of a theme that is of vital importance to understanding Rebbe Nachman’s Torah, that is the four elements of nature: earth, water, air and fire. These are called yesodot in Hebrew and the Tzaddik yesod olam is the master of these elements of nature. Thus through the Tzaddik flows all the shefa of the world.

Reb Noson goes on to explain how bread is made from these four elements:

Earth: Flour
Water: Water
Air: Yeast and the rising of the bread
Fire: Baking

The difference between bread and matzah is only in the element of air. This then is the secret of Pesach. Pesach is the time that we purify the ruach (the air element in our soul), the time we have the opportunity to free ourselves from the ruach d’tumah and connect more strongly to the ruach d’kedusha. This is done through the breaking of our desires and connection to the sitra achra and strengthening our connection to the purity of the highest part of our soul, which gets its life from the neshama klali, the soul of Israel -- the Tzaddik HaEmet.

So this made me wonder: how is it that simply cleaning our houses from chametz and eating matza for a week could have such an important part in this process?

First we need to realize that Pesach is the holiday that celebrates the birth of the people of Israel and is probably the central holiday in our calendar and the defining moment in our history -- leaving Egypt. However, the holiday is not called the holiday of leaving Egypt, it is called the Festival of Matza.
Bread is the basis of all eating. A seudah is only a seudah because we eat bread. It is the reasson we say birkat hamazon. And of course the basis of the bread is the flour (קמח 148). Therefore, Pesach is the time we can focus on eating in greater holiness. The chametz is an aspect of the ruach d’tumah and so Hashem Yitbarach gives us this mitvah to free ourselves from chametz in order to use this time to purify ourselves and gain the spiritual strength to transform the ruach in our lives so that we have the power to eat bread and all our meals the rest of the year in greater holiness.

Reb Noson explains that matza is a food like that Manna that is heavenly and is free of the mixture of good and bad that came into the world from the eating of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Thus through the eating in accordance with the mitzva, Hashem Yitbarach gives us a way to connect back to the light olam haba that is all good. This is the ultimate nourishment for our souls.

There are three primary elements to the soul. Nefesh, Ruach and Neshama.

Nefesh: Physical Aspect
Ruach : Emotional Aspect
Neshama: Spiritual and Intellectual Aspect

The Torah teaches us that our primary work is to heal our emotional aspect, that is our middot. The Tzaddik is one whose emotions are guided by the pure Torah of his neshama and he uses his emotions and will power to rule his body and physical inclinations.

And here is the secret of Pesach...Pesach gematria 148, flour 148 and Nachman 148. Pesach, the time of our freedom from Egypt is celebrated through the festival of matza. Matza is the taking of flour and freeing it from the element of air so that it becomes a perfect kli for the ruach d’kedusha. In other words, as Reb Noson explains, matza is daat, the pure wisdom that is all good. And this is essence of the soul of the Tzaddik HaEmet, NACHMAN, Nachal Novea Mekor Chochma, the flowing stream and source of wisdom.

Now that we have eaten the matza and have received this higher wisdom, it is our work to cultivate this wisdom in our lives through the process of Counting the Omer -- the purification of the middot in preparation for receiving the Torah and our true life as Holy Servants of the Blessed Creator.

Last Day(s) of Pesach

The last day of Pesach commemorates the miracle of the splitting of the sea. This happened in the early morning hours. In the Medrashing we find an explicit enumeration of 50 miracles that took place, and according to Rabbi Akiva there were in fact 250 miracles! Thus the splitting of the sea was a far greater miracle than any other miracle of the redemption from Egypt.

Upon crossing the sea and witnessing the miracles אז ישיר משה 'then' Moshe began to sing praise to God. There is a custom to sing this on the last night of Pesach after chatzos (midnight) in commemoration. The word sing in the Tora is written with an extra yud (numerical value of 10), making it into future tense. There are various teachings that are derived from this, and most obviously it's an allusion that Moshe is yet to sing to God a song that is composed of the 10 types of song - something that we in recent year bear witness to - Rabbi Nachman's (who had the soul of Moshe Rabbainu) revelation of the song that is Single, Double, Triple, Quadruple (1&2&3&4 = 10 letters) Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman! This is the song that will B"H escort us out of our present and final exile.

Hashem's Clear Message

Hope to have more happier thoughts to transmit next time, especially during a Chag; but meanwhile, we must reflect on today's murder of Ben-Yosef Livnat, HY"D - May Hashem avenge his blood. Regardless of his exact set of beliefs within the Breslov movement, or whether being at Kever Yosef was a good spiritual choice regardless of the possible physical dangers involved, there is no doubt that Hashem didn't just pick anyone today to be the latest Korban - after being prevented by a democratic-for-Arabs-only government from offering the Korban Pesach last week, and presently waiting for the Korban Pesach Sheni that we just read about in today's Kerias HaTorah should Moshiach appear once and for all no later than the 14th of Iyar.

It seems that today's tragic events has everything to do with the Inyan of Yosef. The Kadosh bearing the unusual name of Ben-Yosef, this is the concept of being a Ben, a son, following in the footsteps of Yosef HaTzadik, who represented the concept of Shemiras HaBris, and was murdered by the Kever of Yosef HaTzadik. Moreover, his last name Livnat can be found exactly once in the entire Chumash (if not the entire Tanach) where it says Livnat HaSapir - "brick of sapphire (stone)". And as we see pertaining to the names of the stones in the Choshen HaMishpat that the Cohen Gadol wore, it was the Sapir (sapphire) stone that corresponds to Shevet Yosef! And this happened today, the day that we read about the Korban Pesach Sheni that was brought by Jews who were Tmei Mes, which the Midrash says, was due to carrying the Kever of Yosef! The question can be asked - if we know that all of the Shevatim - not just Yosef - were brought out of Mitzrayim to be buried in Israel, then why does the Midrash say that it was particularly because of being Tmei Mes carrying Yosef that these Jews were not able to bring the regular Korban Pesach?

It seems that the ultimate lesson that we can learn from here is that death to begin with is because of sin. And it was Yosef - who earned the merit of being called the title of Tzadik because he took great pains to prevent himself from sin - especially the Inyan of Shemiras HaBris. And so as great as the Mitzva of Korban Pesach is - for which one is Chayav Kares if one had the ability to offer it but didn't it - one who was Tmei Mes was forbidden to offer it. Before being able to be in the proper frame of mind of coming close to Hashem - as the word Korban indicates - one must do his utmost best to regret one's sins and resolve not to repeat them. Being impure of the dead reminds one of this concept, as death came to the world as the result of the eating of the Eitz HaDa'as. It is only with this proper frame of mind can one be able to offer a meaningful Korban to Hashem allowing oneself to be connected with Him, without being dragged into the temptions of the world, especially in regards to what opposes Shemiras HaBris.

A few observations of today's date - today's murder of Ben-Yosef Livnat occured on 20 Nissan, which is exactly half a year apart from 20 Tishrei, the 6th day of Succos marking the Ushpizin of Yosef HaTzadik. Also, today is the 6th day of Pesach, which in Hebrew can be read as Vav (the letter Vav) B'Pesach - which is the Gematria of Yosef's name (156). Finally, today is also the first day of the week of Parshas Kedoshim - and speaking on the Inyan of Kedoshim, those whose were murdered by non-Jews because they were Jews - Chazal enjoin us from where it says in the beginning of this week's Parsha "Kedoshim Tihyu" - to sanctify ourselves even regarding matters that are permitted to us (when they are not forbidden to us), which certainly means not to go overboard with the materialistic pleasures in this world.

Even if the Kadosh had not been a follower of Breslov, we could still learn these same spiritual lessons here, but Al Achas Kama V'Kama, the fact that he was a follower of Breslov that is the ultimate spiritual movement to represent Shemirat HaBris which includes the Tikkun HaKelali, this is certainly a big wake up call.

P.S. This is the second Chol HaMoed this year that a Breslover was murdered. On this past Chol HaMoed Succos - on 18 Tishrei marking the 200th Yahrzeit of Rabbeinu - another young Breslover who was months away from getting married was murdered by thugs in Uman, the city of the Kever of Rabbeinu.

Terrible Tragedy

The Palistinian police murdered at least one Israeli this morning not far from the Holy Tomb of Yosef Hatzadik. May H"Y console his family (wife and 4 children, parents etc.) and the rest of Israel who will suffer his loss. May his death ameliorate all judgement from the Jews.

Let it be clear that in my humble opinion his death and the injuries of all involved are very much due to their following a certain rabbi who encourages insanity. It is well known and established that the palestinians murder unarmed civilians when ever they get the chance, yet this group, under the influence of their rabbi relies on miracles (which is against our Sages who taught that one should never really on miracles). True Breslovers don't follow the meforsumim (famous) rabbis of today, God forbid! True Breslovers believe in the Petek and Saba who said that one should definitely not risk his life to go visit the Holy Tomb of Yosef Hatzadik. It is true that there are thousands of miracles, (and I know personally someone who walked there on foot and would have returned safely, but was arrested and fined 1500 shekel), just as there are on a daily basis from all the mortars that the arabs rain down on Israel - which only catch the public interest when 1 in about 1000 actually does serious damage. But that 1, who cares in how many, is much too precious to be lost. The Zohar asks how Kaleb risked his life to go to Chevron to visit the Patriarchs, and answers that one who is very caught up in the turmoils of his soul doesn't pay much attention to the obstacles on the way to Tzadik. This however is definitely not the case today when one can go safely to Rabbi Nachman in Uman (may we merit to see his Holy Tomb moved to Jerusalem in the very near future) the Patriarchs and Rashbi and many other Tzadikim and even to Yosef Hatzadik in a safe fashion.

May H"Y have great mercy and compassion on His chosen people and on the whole world and console us.

In New York

Currently in New York, anyone interested in doing Hafatza or talking about Rebbe Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman is wellcome to call me.

Na Nach: who? and why? in a few lines...

Rabbi Nachmani is the teacher of Rabbi Abbayy (EBAY-Y in Hebrew)

"the halacha is like Nachman/ Nachman/ Nachmani" (Gemarra)

Meuman Nachman Nachma Nach Na Odesser Ber Israel

Hebrew letters indicate that the book called EBAY hanachal (nove mekor chochma) is indicative that the gardner is called Rabbi Odesser Ber Israel as opposed to Rabbi Israel Ber Odesser so you should know that:

From Uman Nachman Nachma... to Odessa (threw the) Ber (sea/well) to Israel and to Jerusalem (yrushalaim)

The name "Abayy" indicates that the beginning is Uman and the end is Jerusalem. At this moment already everything is in Jerusalem. Now let's bring the "kelim ketanim" - to do this we will confont the angel of Esav and even Ishmael!

YES WE CAN! Yesh Li Kol and he has a Rav - Kol the voice and "caller" of Jacob while Amalek tries to cut the head of at the neck "molek". Ra -ve = Bad and...

Bechira {power of free choice} is only through Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

All of Judaism and our Holy Faith in the One God is contingent on the true Tzadik - the foundation of the world. The Tora was very particular and insistent on this. Unfortunately there are many who refuse to acknowledge the Tzadik, claiming that they go directly to God. This is direct blasphemy disregarding that which God chose and established. Rabbainu taught (LKM 190) that we only have Bechira - the power of choice - by virtue of having received the Tora through Moshe Rabbainu (and not directly from God), so those that say they go directly to God, unless they claim to be as great as Moses, are claiming to be like animals that don't have bechira!

Some of the greatest holy Rabbis would help people even by taking away their free choice and elevating them to high levels of holiness. Rabbi Nachman said that he could do that for everyone, but what purpose would that serve, it would be like God serving Himself. God wishes for us, regular people to serve Him. Therefor Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman helps us from the very point where we find ourselves - from there he helps us make the right decisions and determination on our own.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

4 Certified Ways To Save the World

As we are obviously intent on saving humanity not to mention the fish.... These 4 devotions should be very familiar to us so that we strengthen ourselves to fulfill them and excel in their production.

1. Actual hafatza - dissemination of the holy teachings, music, media, styles, ways, joy, spirit, holiness, and light of Rabbainu Rabbi Nachman of Breslov better to be known as, Our Master Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

2. Torah. In Likutay Moharan - A Collection from Our Master Rabbi Nachman - [Torah 14:3] Rabbi Nachman states that it is possible to bring repentance to the outsiders (sinners, gentiles) only through the proliferation of Torah.

3. Holy Yearning and Desires. In Likutay Eitzos - A Collection of Advice, based on Likutay Moharan - A Collection of Our Master Rabbi Nachman - [Torah 31] it is explained clearly that by having strong holy desires and yearning one creates holy souls that have holy will, these souls go out into the world and possess people infusing them with holy desires and determination. Likutay Eitzos sets down explicitly that through this holy practice and method one can rectify the whole world!

4. Seeing people from a favorable vantage, in light of their good points and qualities. This is one of the most famous teachings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman found in Likutay Moharan [Torah 382], Rabbainu says that by judging someone favorably that person is actually moved to be the person he was judged to be. Rabbainu and Rabbi Nussun stressed that this Torah can really change around and rectify the whole world.

Another new article about Nanach

This one I can't give a direct link because they don't use the cleanest language and their site has some issues, but B"H they wrote some great stuff about Nanach, and that's what really counts.

apparently the author hung out a little with our dear friend Ronain, may H"Y bless him, and there's also Shivtee, and some other Nanach.

Great New Article about Nanach

Rolling deep with Na Nachs

by the way the article is sporting a picture of Y.B. whose mother has come to E.Y. for Pesach, which they are celebrating in Nachlaot.

Two things you should know about Pesach - Passover

There are lots of things you should know (take advantage of the index on the right side of the blog), but I'm in a big hurry to get out of Egypt so I only have time to tell you these, B"H.

1. Pesach - Nachman. Na Nach is freedom!

2. The Hagada only mentions Moshe Rabbainu once, so the litivish are saying that C"V they shouldn't confuse Moshe Rabbainu with Hashem (it seems absurd to me, however Chazal say that was precisely the mistake of the Dur Daya, the most knowledgable generation, they equated Moshe Rabbainu with H"Y, so I guess you have to be very smart to make such a mistake. On Erev Pesach there is a custom to read a letter from the Godly Kabballist Rabbi Shimon from Ostropoli who was killed in sanctification of the Holy Name, in this letter, which he emphasizes is an extremely awesome revelation, R' Shimon shows how the names of the Tzadikim are Divine, these are secrets of the Tora, hence it can be understood why people on the level of living Divine must be wary of not mistaking Rabbainu for God. It is also interesting to note that Rabbi Shimon discusses the Divine Ashe"r - which is letters R"osh - an obvious allusion to Rabbainu). The truth is that the night of the Seder is when all the Jews came to Moshe Rabbainu and they began their exudos. That is why Moshe Rabbainu's name isn't mentioned, because he's the one doing the talking (Eliyahu Hanuvi is the mouth of Moshe Rabbainu). Obviously the main thing that we have to accomplish at the Seder is to get to Moshe Rabbainu, who today for all intensive purposes is Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Speak to God from the Torah You Hear God Telling You

Every person has his/her own place in the world. No two places are the same. Rabbi Nachman revealed that even when a soul comes back to the world, it is not the same as before, it has a different composition and sequence with other souls that are bound and formed to it. Every soul has it's end game, it's final fate, as we say to the dead when we bury them (from Daniel 12) ועתה לך לקץ ותנוח ותעמוד לגורלך לקץ הימין – and now go to the end and rest and stand to your portion to the end of days. The word גורל "goaral” which we have translated as portion, is also a result from a lottery or gamble, thus it is the final fate or portion. The Talmud (Tractate Yevumos 121a) relates that once the boat that Rabbi Akiva was in capsized, when asked how he survived, Rabbi Akiva replied that he came upon a board from the boat and every wave – גל – that came his way, he nodded his head. This reply has became a common allegory to how one should deal with adversary. The letter resh – ר – meaning head, when inserted into the word גל – wave, spells גורל. Thus we see again that גורל connotes a persons fate.

Due to a person having his/her own unique space and entity in the world, the person has his own ego, which is deeper than any talent or characteristic that he possess, just by virtue that he has a place. This identity has a desire to be autonomous – אנא אמלוך – I will rule. Great storm winds attack and cultivate the identity urging it to grow, expand it's kingdom. These are the winds of controversy of the 4 prime elements that form all matter and character (LKM 8, also about the connection of the storm wind to strife see LKM 17, and 38). Alternatively there is the wind, the spirit of the Tzadik which silences the other winds and allows a person to abnegate his unique position and identity to God (LKM 10).

More about Lindsay Lohan

B"H just now I was zoche (merited) to meet with our great Nanach Gavriel Levi who is mayfitz with Aron Patz, they have both done amazing hafatza in L.A. reaching out to some of the celebrities there, also working with our man in Hollywood, Eliyahu Silwan whom we have posted about previously. In any event I asked him what the deal with LiLo being into Nanach. So he told me that about three years ago when she was going out very intimately with the Jewish dj Samantha Ronson they visited Eliyahu Silwan and he blew them away. They both went straight afterwards (I'm not sure about their present tendencies). People magazine reputedly has a picture of LiLo wearing the Nanach Kamaya, and there are reputedly many such pictures available in the media. Gavriel tells me that LiLo is (or at least was) kind of obsessive over Eliyahu Silwan, really pursuing his Nanach insight. That was a few years ago, so it's great to see LiLo pop up again in the media telling the world Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Faith is above imagination

A few days ago the news had an article about a Jewish performer, Josh Kornbluth who has recently became fascinated by Judaism, B"H. The article says that he was very favorably stunned to hear "Rabbi Menachem Creditor, a Buber aficionado and spiritual leader of Berkeley’s Congregation Netivot Shalom... define God as the collective potential of the human imagination". There is truth to this definition, but only if it is understood properly.
Rabbi Nussun explains at great length in Likutay Halachos (Orach Chaim, Blessings of Smell 4) that imagination is the bridge between the physical and spiritual, faith in God transcends the imagination, and one must clarify his imagination with the Divine Spirit of the Tzadik which gives faith. There are also infinite levels of faith, and then of course there is God Himself. However the imagination of the Tzadik is a form of prophecy, as it says "in the hands of the prophets I will be imagined". Therefore it is fair to say that the collective potential of human imagination - if that were to include the Tzadiks Godly imagination - is a definition of Faith in God, or as I remember seeing from a holy source - the Tzadik of the generation's comprehension of God defines the level of the Shechina - Divine Presence. because obviously God Himself transcends all His creations, including imagination and prophecy.

Nanah Drawing

Drawing from Eliezer of Paris

Los Angeles

I am currently in LA and anyone interested in Hafatza or in talking about Rebbe Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman is welcome to call me 323-848-2102.

All Jews Must Come to Live in the Holy Land

Saba was very insistent that all Jews should live in Israel, even though he asserted that Rabbainu himself was not still not interested in having his holy tomb moved to Israel, revealing that Rabbainu didn't care to be with the zionists and the desecrators of the Torah. Saba said it is unfortunate for every breath taken outside of the Holy Land, unfortunate for every second!

People sometimes get influenced by the great attention the media gives to Israel and they are led to believe that it might be C"V dangerous to live in Israel. The truth however is that the safest place in the world is in Israel! For all those in the U.S. consider the recent remark of the Brazilian government on the massacre a gunmen conducted in a school, that such a thing is similar to what takes place in the U.S.. Also consider the wikileaks leak on February 2, 2010, from the CIA about America exporting terrorism - although it looks like the report is garbage - e.g. it states that Baruch Goldstien was a terrorist C"V, when in reality, anyone who knows anything of the man, knows that he was a doctor who saved many many lives and only shot at the Palestinians to avert an imminent pogrom which the Israeli Government and army were unwilling and senseless to do anything. In any event he clearly wasn't sent by the U.S. as a terrorist, and this sheds light on the garbage the world considers secrets. If you want to know real secrets, start saying Nanach!

Holy tomb of Arizal

Nanach news

B"H some Nanach just came back from an exciting trip to Rabbainu in Uman. A group of Nanach (including T. from Tsfas, CW, YAL, Yehoshua, and some chasidim) went to visit the Sofia park and they were attacked by about 10 masked Ukrainians, some of the Nanach fled others stayed to fight until the gentiles started with weapons. Later the Nanach returned but their attackers were no longer there. YAL had with him a new draft of a revised translation of Sipuray Maasiyot which got scattered during the fight (which I think he stayed for), later he was able to gather all the pages (I think) but the Ukrainians had burnt part of a Tikun Haklali.

Maybe for the first time ever I had an amazing experience with the police here in Israel on my hitching to Tsfas from Yirushalayim. The police began their routine of harassment asking me for ID, because how do they know who I am, and I am asking them what are they worried about, and waiting for things to esculate to threats and searches etc.. But this time Rabbi Nachman worked wonders, as I detected that the driver was wearing a large beanie and he seemed a little more amicable, so I smiled at him, and he began smiling and asked me if I was going to Tsfas to do hafatza, and if I knew Nir, and we began talking about Nanach, and I gave him my new disc - which he immediately put into the cd player - so that the rest of the conversation had "chap a Nanach" in the background. The driver tells me that he was in Uman 5 times for Rosh Hashana! No wonder! (even when the conversation became friendly they asked for my ID, it seems that this is something very deeply ingrained in them. So they get to discussing how they can help me, and he offers to drive me to the next junction, and he asks me straight out if there's anything he can do to help me! Then he gets out of the car and walks around to me and asks me my name - this time in a friendly way, and I reply - Simcha, and he says it's appropriate, and he slips me a bill, I say Toda (thanks), and they drive off. It turns out to be 100 Shekel!!!

B"H there was some other excitement hitching up, like a guy that stopped in the middle of a highway - he passed the inlet where I was before deciding to stop. The car behind him was someone learning how to drive and wasn't learned in the art of just switching lanes, so a small pile up began until I was able to get all my suitcases and stuff and myself into the vehicle.

Another guy that stopped for me was a chasideshe guy driving a large truck, he was kind of embarrassed about it - he told me that for him it is rather small because he's used to driving an 80 tonner!

There was more, but that's a taste.

Shlomo Carlbach was released a while ago, all charges against him were dropped. The nanach got him one of those celebrity lawyers who gave them a very discounted fee, which was still like 4000 shekel, and B"H Nanach prevailed.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

The Land of "Now" Na Nach

Nissan

B"H recently many of the old posts have been indexed. On the right side of the site (scroll down a little) you can find many topics, in alphabetical order, that have been addressed. E.g. find previous articles written on "Nissan".

Chodeh Tov Chodesh Haguelah Rosh Hashanah LaM'lachim Birthday Rabeinu NACHMAN Rosh Benei Israel! It appears to me Likutei Moharan #17 contains veiled reference to Rabeinu Nachman's birthday as he talks of the Tzadik who finds the glory points of Yisrael and the birthday of the king, and his birthday being RH Nissan. Are there more explicit references to the connection of Rabeinu's birthday on RH laMlachim and his being Rosh Benei Israel?
Also I recently counted mispar katan of NACHMAN is -- what else? -- 4.

Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan (day preceding the new month Nissan)

One of the chaverim told me that R' Chaim Palagi says that it is always auspicious to say Ethics of Our Fathers (Pirkey Avos) on erev Rosh Chodesh, but especially on Erev Rosh Chodesh Nissan if one reads the whole thing (6 chapters), it is like he read the entire Mishna!

Yisroel Saba: The nations want Jerusalem? They will get earthquakes!

Previously there was discussion what brought on the earthquakes and huge disasters that the world just witnessed. Reading the conversations of Saba Yisroel it would seem that it could very well be God Almight showing the nations to be careful, often they take themselves too seriously thinking that they can determine what to do with the Jews and Israel, so H"Y gives them a little taste of his arsenal. Of course it is incumbent on us to also register our fear of God and repent, the main thing is to spread Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Check out the quote from Saba Yisroel on the Hebrew na-nach.net, and you can read the translation from nanach.org, Yisroel Saba page 118 (if it would let me, I would have copied the text here).

The Nanach Factor

B"H yesterday I saw a great anti-semitic article in the Jerusalem Post, which quoted some type of census predicting that by the year 2030 there would be an overwhelming presence of observant Jews in Israel, the article felt that this might be the end of Israel!!! The article asserted the observant Jews are supported by the secular Jews (how come we don't see any of that money?!), and that with the influx of Jews who keep the Torah, C'V Israel would revert to being a backwards country!!! Well for one, they forgot that God created the world, and all the money, sustenance, technological, social, cultural and every other type of advancement comes from Him, so it does pay and help to acknowledge Him and it definitely C"V doesn't hurt!!! For another thing, they didn't take into account the Nanach factor, which will B"H return the Jews to God much much sooner!!! And for another thing, they didn't take into account that God really likes, in fact He's "crazy" about Nanach! The more Nanach the more God is going to be showing us awesome improvement and advancement in Israel and in the whole world.
Great Blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Did all this happen because she eight?

Eight days til BRIS MILA or the oath of the word. Tazriah or after giving birth a woman needs to wait to become pure (30 days for male birth). A woman suffers (depression is "tame") giving birth because of the "sin" of Eve. In her suffering she cries out 70 voices.

I know that 70 souls went to Egypt. Egypt is considered the womb where Israel was born as a nation. Coming out of Egypt was done thanks to G-d hearing our SCREAM, and crossing the sea was a lot like coming out of the womb.

The 70 souls of Jacob were going to Egypt because they DID NOT pay attention to the words of Josef.

This one word replaces the 70 screams and attones for them.

This word can only be said by one who is of CIRCUMBCISED LIPS (one who is pure in the bris). The word is the revelation of the true leader and head of Israel and the world. The soul that is said to have left the first man before he sinned, the soul who is revealed on the eigth day of the life of Israc (created after Eve, and after Shabbas). The soul who became flesh on the first of Nissan. Without being connected to this soul, we are like feet without a head or more precisely Amalekited.

The way to connect is to say Na Nach. Happy birthday- we are only alive when we have a head!
