Big Hillulos Today - 29 Tamuz

Today is the hillula of Rabbi Yochanan HaSandler who is buried right near Rashbi. It is also the hillula of Rash"i, Rabbainu revealed that Rash"i is the "brother" of the Torah!!!

B"H there will be great Nanach celebrations.

Rabbi Nachman of Breslov teaches in Likutay Moharan (Collected Teachings of Our Master Rabbi Nachman, Torah 61) that by giving honor to rabbis that are unworthy, calling them with titles of honor, causes the banishment of Jews from places of Jewish settlement. In last weeks haftora (weekly portion of the Prophets) the Prophet Yirmiya castigates the false prophets and leader of Israel. This apparently was as it is now a very big problem the Jews suffer.

High rent in Israel is an aspect of banishment, especially recently when it has actually driven hundreds of people out of their houses.

Thousands of Jews have been praying to be able to resume living in their houses (unfortunately many are praying to the government... but undoubtedly much of the prayers are directed to H"Y). In such a state rabbis should be cautious....

Friday, July 29, 2011 does not condone the murder of MSS

The ways of Rabbainu are to be peaceful and harmonious. Eventually all will turn around to be good, to be Nanach.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman!

Tuesday, July 26, 2011

Noting that 23 Tammuz of this year marked the 89th anniversary of the discovery of the Petek, which includes the name of the Tzadik - Na Nach Nachma Nachman - it is most interesting to note that the original source of this from the teachings of Rabbeinu (Likutei Moharan II:8) quotes from Tehillim - Perek 89 - Olam Chesed Yibaneh "The world will be built with kindness" (Psalms 89:3), as the word Chesed/kindness is the Gematria of 72 as well as Hashem's main name YKVK when spelled as Y YK YKV YKVK.

The number 89 is also the Gematria of the name of the holiday of Chanuka, which kabbalistically corresponds to the Sephira of Hod. The word Hod/splendor is the Gematria of 15, and the total phrase Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman (in Hebrew of course) which is the phrase that is always sung contains a total of 15 letters! And as mentioned in Gemara Berachos, Hod corresponds to the Beis HaMikdosh, about which we constantly pray for it to be rebuilt - "Sheyibaneh Beis HaMikdosh", just as the above verse that speaks of the first Sephira of Chesed - Olam Chesed Yibaneh "The world WILL BE BUILT with kindness", even though in one sense, the world was indeed created by Hashem and sustained in the merit of His kindness until the Torah was given, but this is the FUTURE TENSE of the world that WILL be built in the future with kindness as noted in this teaching of Likutei Moharan that through Hashem's name as related to 72 (10+15+21+26), there will be a novelty of the world in the future. And as Chesed is the 1st Sephira and Hod is the 5th Sephira, when you put these two numbers together, that is, one & five (1&5), it becomes the number 15, the same Gematria as Hod, which corresponds to the Beis HaMikdash, the holiest place of the world.

(NOTE: The Breslover Ben-Yosef Livnat HY"D who was murdered by bloodthirsty Arabs at Kever Yosef three months ago died as a Kadosh on the 5th day of the Sephira which represents Hod She'B'Chesed - Hod within Chesed, just as the Beis Hamikdash - the holiest place of the world - that corresponds with Hod is within this world that will be built with Chesed. Similarly, this Breslover as murdered by Arabs became a Kadosh "Holy" a term marked especially for others who Lo Aleinu had the same thing happen to them. His last name Livnat, can also be read with different vowels to read Livnot - "to build" - implying a future tense of building in the future! To note, this happened in the midst of the 89th year from when the Petek was discovered, noting that the concept of the world being rebuilt with kindness is mentioned in the 89th Psalm.)

For today's Gematria special - I decided to see what number results when multiplying these four dimensions of Hashem's name as Y=10, YK-15, YKV=21, YKVK=26; hence 10*15*21*26=81,900. Now, the letters to spell the number 81,900 in Hebrew are - Pei, Alef, Tav, Tav, Koof. When you rearrange these five letters as two words, this can be read as Os Petek - SIGN OF PETEK! (Sometimes, the word Os - sign, is spelled with a Vav in the middle, and sometimes without as for example in Shemos 4:8). Hence, Hashem's name as spelled in this positioning as mentioned in Tikunei Zohar hints to the future name of Rabbeinu to be spelled the same way as it would occur in the Petek!

On a personal note, I am in the midst of my 510th month from birth. Similarly, the word Shir is the Gematria of 510, and the phrase Shir Chadash can be reread in Hebrew using only different vowels to read Shir Chodesh or as Chodesh Shir - the 510th month!

Great hafatza opportunity for those in America

There's an online store on sale with self inking stamps, huge magnets for a car, t-shirts, and other paraphernalia at great prices, you can download a Nanach image from the gallery or from and make some great Nanach stuff.

A Song I Composed in Honor of Chag HaPetek 5771

lyrics (based on Rabbi Nachman of Breslov's Tales of Ancient Times, The Merchant and the Pauper): Saba endured the 7 waters, the Petek has inscribed in it the 7 waters. The Pauper received a letter with letters of gold, the Petek overtook it, more precious than gold, the Petek is deep in the heart it is an esoteric secret.

Celebrating Chag HaPetek

B"H there will be a barbecue at the Holy Tomb of Biniyahu Ben Yehuyuda (entrance to Tsfas). Many Nanach will be visiting the Holy Tomb of Saba Yisroel, and I hope to make it myself. Saba received the Petek by the Holy Tomb of Rabbi Meir Baal Hanais, and there are those that visit this holy site on Chag HaPetek.

For Chag HaPetek - About the Revelation of the Petek

Saba received the Petek in 1922, he showed it to his friends the Breslover Chasidim and to some Kabalists, but otherwise he kept it private for about 60 years. There are a few reasons - that we know, why Saba waited 60 years to go public and really publicize the Petek.

One reason is as it says in the Petek, "with the strengthening of your devotion you will understand it", even Saba didn't have a proper understanding of the Petek until he strengthened his devotion, ultimately Saba merited to have amazing understanding of the Petek, proclaiming that if he would reveal what he understood about just two word of the Petek he would take away a persons free choice, and even at this height of understanding Saba said he just understands but a fragment, like a drop in the ocean, for what can we understand of Our Master Rabbi Nachman. After 60 years Saba was inspired and confident in his understanding to start spreading the light of the Petek.

Another reason why Saba withheld the Petek from the general public was his fear of the terrible influence and scoffing of some of the MSS - the honor and power seeking rabbis in Breslov that were not only jealous of Saba having received the Petek, but were full of venom and hatred for what could undermine all the stature they had worked so hard to build. It is well known that the real Breslovers accepted and revered the Petek, these included the elders, Rabbi Naftoli and R' Shlomo Wexler, R' Yitzchok Breiter, and R' Shmuel Horowitz, but those that had built for themselves a following and positions of power felt very threatened by Saba and the Petek. It is amazing to note the Hashgucha - Divine Providence, that one of these died on Chag HaPetek 59 years after the receiving of the Petek (1981)! Another one died on the eve of Chag HaPetek (Saba actually received the Petek sometime at the beginning of the night of 23rd of Tamuz) in 1989!

Saba said "we don't need the rabbis, the nation itself will choose Rabbainu"!

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Chag HaPetek has arrived!

Tonight - Sunday Night - 23 Tamuz - we celebrate Chag HaPetek, the day that Saba Yisroel received the Petek - Letter of Redemption, which was signed: Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Nanach radio

B"H the Nanach are looking into a radically revolutionary method of radio broadcasting. As you can imagine the governments are very reluctant to allowing radio broadcast, and they charge huge fees. B"H there might be away around all the sheker, and you'll soon find out....

Nanach Motorcycles

B"H 10 motorcycles have been ordered and will soon be on the road, with professional Nanach paint job and speakers, a new arm in Nanach hafatza. Special credit to Aron Patz and Nir Shpitzer, may H"Y bless them and help them do more hafatza. They are also credited with the recent publication of 40,000 Nanach pamphlets, most of which have already been distributed, and B"H this is just a drop in the ocean to what is expected.

Everything is Dressed in the Torah

(painting by Hyman Bloom)

Everything in the world gets its vitality from the Torah.  This is because there isn't a single thing that can exist without receiving its vitality from Hashem yisborach.  The Holy One, blessed is He and the Torah are one.  And, because of this fact that they are one, a person can serve Hashem yisborach through every single thing that exists in the world.  It is written, "in all your ways know Him" (משלי ג:ו).  Everything is dressed in the Torah.  Thus, a person can connect everything to the Torah and can turn everything into Torah.

Doctors cause more death and harm than they do good

Rabbainu warned very strongly against endangering one's life by visiting a doctor God forbid. It is a very big trial when one is sick and is desperate to do something, that the something should not be going to a doctor God forbid. There is a tradition in Breslov that if one does capitulate and goes to a doctor, he/she should make sure to go to the very best. Scientists have recently admitted that there is great danger in going to doctors, and the danger is lesser if one is vigilant to get the best treatment.

This Weeks Torah Portion - Parshas Matos

At the very beginning of the Parsha (30:2) it says: וידבר משה אל ראשי המטות לבני ישראל לאמר זה הדבר אשר צוה - And Moshe spoke to the heads of the tribes of the Children of Israel saying this is the matter which God commanded. The words "to" (skipping 'heads of') "the tribes" have the exact gimatria (numerical value) of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, the middle word "heads of" is an obvious reference to Rabbainu, the head of Israel, and "of" is the letter Yud, which is = single, double, triple, square (1 and 2 and 3 and 4 = 10).

This is significant in this verse due to two teachings Our Sages derive from this verse. 1. that the prophecy of Moses was superior than all other prophet, it was precise "this is the matter", where as the other prophecies were just "so is...". 2. From this verse Our Sages learn that one expert judge can nullify a neder (oath) [obviously only with certain conditions etc.], this power is also given to any 3 regular judges. From here we see the power of the ordinary people, that 3 people that get together can have the power of an expert. This is what Saba said that we don't need the rabbis, for the people themselves will pick Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

Yiddishe Nanach (nachas)!

One of the Nanach, may H"Y bless him, was telling me how amazing it is to have Nanach in the house, bringing up the children in the light of Rabbainu. He told me how his little boy when he doesn't want to eat and is told that he must, so the little boy quotes Rabbainu from Likutay Moharan explaining the dangers of eating when not necessary. How can you argue against such a presentation?

Nanach developements

B"H this week I merited to make some journeys with Sharon from our Hebrew The main purpose was to get to the hillula of the Ohr Hachaim on Mount Olives - right across from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. B"H the excursion was filled with all types of pit stops and amazing surprises. Every once in a while we would have to turn into some out of the way village to visit a Nanach, to provide his with books or other Nanach stuff, or to receive nanach music, sticker, and books etc.. B"H.

Right now I'm writing from the house of G.L. Nanach may H"Y bless him, right off of Netanya, where we are making a huge book swap - he is stocked up what's left over of tens of thousands (!!!!) of Nanach pamphlets that Aron Patz just had printed with special credit to Nir Shpitzer and almost all are gone. And we are providing him with the special Nanach publication of Sharon.

G.L. told us 2 amazing stories. One about Nir, who is an ex motorcycle stunt pro (B"H in the near future I should have some more info on that), recently on an impulse he decided to enter a competition, even though he has aged and has not practiced or exercised in years. As Divine Providence had it one of the contestants was injured (or something) and couldn't partake, and they agreed to let Nir take his place. Nir says that he doesn't know or understand how, but he left everyone in his dust, claiming first prize and many people wanting to back him. He told them that he's only interested if the bike he rides and all the promotions are Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman! Nir has been interviewed on TV. May H"Y bless Nir with all the blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

One of the contributers to the awesome new pamphlet publication of Aron Patz and Nir, had given 5,000 shekel, and received "orot" - "lights" i.e. he was got some really good jibes, and he pledged to give another 15,000. But he never gave the additional money, and a week or two later he tried to excuse himself, and tried to point Nir in other directions to raise the money. Last Friday this guy was caught by the police for driving under the influence (considerable) at 200 kilometers an hours. When he was taken to the police station he saw a woman perusing one of the newly published pamphlets (how she got it we don't know)! He was put in jail till after Shabos, on Sunday the judge set his bail at 15,000 shekel! May H"Y have mercy on him and have him correct his ways and fulfill his pledges and new pledges to Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Likutay Nanach - A Collection of Nanach

B"H at the holy tomb of the Ohr Hachaim I met Yisroel Dov Horowitz, the great great grandson of Saba Yisroel Dov Odesser, he asked me for a copy of my Likutay Nanach, and B"H when I'm able to print more I will have to try to get him one. B"H many people have given very positive feedback, including the Breslov Yeshiva in Pekien (the Jewish section - the old section is where the cave that Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai and his son hid for 13 years).

Ohr Hachaim

Today is the Hilula of the Ohr Hachaim (the name of the commentary on the Torah written by) Rabbi Chaim ben Atar, who lived into the generation of the Baal Shem Tov who testified that the Ohr Hachaim had attainted the 'ruach' - spirit (second level of the soul) of the Messiah. The Ohr Hachaim is buried on Har Hazeisim, and B"H I'll have a little footage for you a little later - I was zoche (merited) to get a ride here for this event, maybe in the merit of my writing Nanach on his holy tomb more than once. B"H Sharon from our Hebrew will be doing hafatza there as well as giving out free refreshments (there probably will be other mefitzim there as well).

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman! channels on Youtube exceed one million hits B"H

Lead by Sharon from our Hebrew with over 600,000 hits accompanied by Shimon K. myself and Stephen has reached past 1,000,000 hits on the youtube B"H, and it looks lilke things are just starting to pick up now B"H.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Parshas Pinchas

This weeks Torah portion talks about Pinchas who was Eliyahu the Prophet. Pinchas is composed of the same letters that spell Pesach with an additional Nun Yud - the Yud is a small one. There are 50 days which we count from Pesach to Shavuos, which we develop the levels till we reach the 50th gate. In Stories of Ancient Times, Rabbainu revealed that he was knowledgeable of the path that Eliyahu uses to travel between Heaven and Earth. R' Shlomo Wexler detected on the Petek that on the Nun of Nanach there was a small Yud, he said that he could write many books on this.

Death of Leibel Kletzky

Yesterday sitting with a Nanach friend by the holy tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai I decided to do a Shi-eelas Sefer (asking a question and opening a Holy Book to see what is discussed) about the murder of Leibel Kletzky. The reply I got was something that I didn't want to share because it seemed like something the charedi world would say, but after seeing the news that there was an outbreak of fires throughout Israel, including an extremely large one of 10,000 dunam, and knowing what Rabbainu teaches in Likutay Moharan (Collection of Teachings of our Master Rabbi Nachman of Breslov, Vol. 2, Torah 67) that upon the death of a tzadik fires break out, I received confirmation to what I had found - Torah 273 of Likutay Moharan which says that there are souls that are so holy that they do not fit in this world!

Keren's Nanach store under fire

The Keren's Nanach stand which overlooks the Arizal has recently (I think this was a week or two ago) come under fire from the followers of one of the MSS who apparently want to take over the franchise. They have put together a petition of 50 signatures, and one they have taken to acts of aggression like dumping their garbage on the stand. There was a little more action but I do not know the details and I'm not sure they're important. The main thing is that we are getting the message that our hafatza is having a very strong impact forcing the side of evil to feel very threatened. Also we should pray for the success of Nanach.

Directing Your Prayers

The Halacha is that when one prays he should face the direction of the Holy Of Holies. R' Shmuel Horowitz writes how he would direct his prayers by way of the Holy of Holies and then up through the Chamber of Rabbainu, as it is known that Rabbainu brings all the prayers to H"Y.

It seems to me that understanding the concepts involved would evolve into a completely different modus operandi. The Holy of Holies has the aspect of above space, so one can face and direct his prayers towards the Holy of Holies, which stands in this world, but no further. Any further direction is what the RA"K calls "inner space", spiritual realms that are not confined to any space (although they might only be accessed by certain special places), and as such are present inside all of space. Thus Rabbi Nussun writes that there is no space in the universe that is bereft of the spirit of Rabbi Nachman. When praying one would face the Holy of Holies, and one would conjur the spirit of Rabbi Nachman inside of him/her praying with him, using his body to pray to H"Y.

Great New Article about Nanach

here's the link:

Being Stronger than Miracles

The Talmud says that one of the miracles that happened in the Temple was that High Priest did not have a nocturnal emmission on the night of Yom Kippur. even though the practice was to keep the High Priest awake the whole night, it was still considered a miracle that he escaped contamination from a sucubus. Rabbi Nachman uses this to show us how the a person rises the stronger the powers of evil will hound him and persecute him. Rabbi Nachman further uses this to teach us, that if one does fall into an impurity, he should not be astounded and confused, he should not have complaint and a grudge, for does he see himself worthy of having miracles performed for him, like the High Priest in the Temple on the night of Yom Kippur?!

The Talmud (Kidushin 81) relates stories about Rabbi Akiva and Rabbi Meir who belittled transgressors, until the Satan appeared to them as a very beautiful woman, out of reach (to Rabbi Meir - on the other side of a river. to Rabbi Akiva high up on a tree), they each made extra ordinary effort to reach her, and half way there the Satan let them go, saying that if he (Satan) wasn't warned from Heaven to be cautious of them and their Torah he would have made them worthless (two miuh).

Now in the end of times, when the Satan is making his last stand, and simple people like us do not have the special protection, we must do our best to remain loyal to H"Y and His Holy Tzadik and Holy Torah, but if we fall, we must take this instride, to do otherwise would be more than haughty, looking at ourselves as special and above the Divine Providence that runs the world.

B"H a great new Nanach Song

These are the lyrics:

Don't be a monkey

Life is not a parody

Scream Nanach carry on and shout
Show us what you got before time runs out

So go ahead and connect to Na Nach any way and every way that you can. Na Nach!! You got to spread it to get it...Na Nach.

The Memouna is all about Na Nach!

Az yashir Moshe- Az is gematria 8! When did they sing, only after Am Israel started to believe in Moses, after they saw the bodies of their masters floating up on the shores symbolizing that they were no longer slaves of the Egyptians. M-emouna means "faith" Rabbi Israel wrote a whole book about this VERY important prerequisite to all the mitsvotes, and to simcha and to Tikkun ha Bris (which is symbolized by the eigth day is it not?). Memouna- Menora the eigth light which purifies miraculously can only be the light of the unblemished Tzaddik.
Shemo-Na Na8. Shem "N".

In KI Tissa (because you will raise) You find IM Tissa (If you will raise) 32.32 Names with the famous phrase "If you raise their signature and if not erase me from your book you wrote" In reverse "I am Nachman".

The real Pessach could not occure until Na Nach was revealed and the Memouneh became a national Israeli Holiday like Hannukka and Purim.

B"H amazing advance of Hafatza by the Keren!

Just now I spoke with Shay, the active manager of the Keren, who told me amazing progress the keren has made B"H. Amram Horowitz OBM, Saba's grandson and the head of the Keren, before he died (about 2 years ago) told Shay that they should shift their main focus of hafatza from Meron to the area of the Western Wall and the Old City of Jerusalem. B"H the Keren has a beautiful store in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, unfortunately the store was understaffed with Aaron Chay working double shifts as he maintained a job in a local makolet (mini mart) that overlooks the "square" of the Jewish Quarter. Rabbainu intervened and started to be mikarev (draw close) the owner of the makolet, who's been drawn to Uman twice already. So BH the makolet has employed Aron Chay to extend a point of hafatza from the makolet! Moshe Lipon has taken over the Nanach store. There is amazing potential here B"H, and your prayers are needed to ward off the evil that is already seeking to disrupt. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in helping with hafatza, to get over there and lend a hand to this growing conglomerate of Nanach. B"H Israel is seeing the most tourism ever, ranking in the highest of the world, and there are alot of people going through the old city, besides the huge amount of Israelis and school children that make their way there. So with two points of Hafatza there, we could use all hand on board!

B"H a new Nanach song

The lyrics are from this weeks parsha - Torah portion - from Bilam's prophetic praising of the Jews.

B"H a new 3D animation Nanach video

With Nanach You Are In Good Hands Even When Giving Birth

Today one of the Nanach's wife gave birth. At the hospital the doctors wanted her to take all types of injections and pills, but she refused, the doctors told her that in English they say "be prepared for the worst", so she told them that she says "Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman" she got the Head Doctor of the whole ward laughing. The doctors also wanted to use knives and stuff, but our friends told them no way, and in the end the doctors admitted that they were mistaken.

Givald new article about Nanach.

Check this out, BH, in some ways this is the first of a kind, it's written kind of uniquely, see for yourself!

Saba's last year

The last Rosh Hashana of Saba's life he celebrated in Uman in the house right next the Holy Tomb of Rabbainu (which was miraculous that he procured it). (Yes Saba went to Uman till the very end, even after he was unsuccessful in bringing Rabbainu's holy tomb to Israel). The details I do not know, but the followers of the MSS attacked him, throwing stones and other things at him. Every year when Saba would return from Rosh Hashana his countenance was beaming, people with him told me that in this awesome aura you didn't need electric lighting. However upon returning this final time Saba appeared very gloomy. Ben-Tzion Grant went to visit the Saba before Yom Kippur to ask him advice about a shidduch - match. Saba told him "I am not here" and would not answer his queries.

as an aside, this morning Mordichai Eash Hakosel (The man of the Western Wall - Mordechai's been a icon at the Western Wall for many many years, wearing white and full of antics, last year Mordichai was interested in going to Uman but he was not Zoche) told me how he helped Saba, who was in a wheel chair, dip in the mikva of the Jewish Quarter of Old City of Jerusalem.

Fancy meeting you here

Today walking down King George someone stopped me and reminded me that he had invited me to his wedding in 2007 (on the Tayelet of Armon HaNitziv, which I think has been overidden with new housing), which I attended and did my best to Nanach as much as possible. This was still back in the day that internet wasn't everywhere, and he was bragging how his wedding was going to be on the internet, he was also excited that his name was Mordichai and the girls name was Esther.
So as Hashgucha has it, he recognized me, pulled me over, and told me that TODAY he divorced her. B"H he has two children from her (I think she has the children). B"H he's finally going to send me the video footage.

Charedim Getting Into Nanach

Today walking down Meah Shearim I saw this cute little kid maybe 2 years old, I tried to get his attention, telling him Nanach, but he was too far away from me and I wasn't in his line of vision. But B"H his mother (I assume) a true Woman of Valor dressed in black from head to toe, with a shaul and the whole deal, she nudges her son and gets him to turn my way, getting the kid really excited about Nanach, B"H.

Rejected from School for Being Nanach

B"H today my son was rejected from the local Old City cheder, solely for the reason that we are Na Nach.

This morning my wife called up the administrator to find out the results of our sons application to register in the Pre1A class for the upcoming year. He frankly informed her that they were not interested in having him as part of the school since he comes from a Na Nach family. My wife politely and insistently demanded that he explain what was this 'great flaw' of being Na Nach that was enough to reject a good kid from a religious home. He responded that in Na Nach it is an OK thing if a person sits and reads Tehilim the entire day.

At the end of the conversation my wife informed him that Baruch Hashem we have full Emunah that our son's Torah is not dependent in any shape or form on enrollment in their Cheder.

B"H this is the second time we had the ability to sanctify the name of the Tzadik. The first time was when my wife got fired from her position as a cook at the local American seminary after she got caught bringing a Yisroel Saba to work.

But as Sabba said the Sheker will Fall, Fall, Fall and the Emes will Rise, Rise, Rise.

Michael (W) has donated another $180 for the spread of nanach.

Others should follow this example as well.

Bring the Holy Tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov to Jerusalem!

In todays portion of Chok Liyisrael, the Sefer Chasidim (which often has ideas that Rabbainu promulgated) brings a Medrash (exegesis) how Moshe Rabbainu, having been told by H"Y that he could not enter the Holy Land, begged H"Y to at least be allowed to be buried there. The Holy Torah and Our Holy Sages teach us how awesome the burial of Moshe Rabbainu is, how he was buried by H"Y, and how he buried opposite the evil klipa (husk) of pi-or thus negating that strong evil influence from the world. Even still Moshe Rabbainu preferred to be buried in the Holy Land. This is be very clear, and it should be clear that undoubtedly Rabbainu would prefer to have his holy Tomb brought to Jerusalem, if we merit.

Parshas Buluk

As we are very well aware, it is the greatest privilege to say Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman even one time, even in the span of a life time, saying Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman just one time will reverse and turn everything for the good, and better.

If you ask, how can it be that just saying a few words can make such a dramatic transition, you need not look further than this weeks Torah portion - Parshas Buluk. Buluk fears the approaching Jewish nation, so he hires Bilam to curse the Jews. Buluk who according to Our Holy Sages was an even more powerful sorcerer than Bilam is convinced that whoever Bilam curses is finished. We know that the reward of goodness is 500 times that of retribution. So if a curse from an evil person could knock out an entire righteous nation, we can not fathom the power of holy words, Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, said by even a simple person!

The Ben Eesh Chay, who was not zoche (merit) to know the secret of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, nonetheless came to an hasaga (spiritual conception) that seems to touch Nanach. The Ben Eesh Chay writes that Buluk hired Bilam to say "Yisroel" (Israel = Jews) in the reverse fashion of the way we say Nanach - to first say Yisroel, and then to take off one letter, and then take off another letter etc.. And to say "Moav" the way we say Na Nach Nachma Nachman! - To see the full and exact text of the Ben Eesh Chay, visit the Hebrew, and it is also presented in my book Likutay Nanach (which you can download for free at

B"H a great new Nanach Song

B"H this song was composed by SNS Nanach and myself right before the holy Shabos of Parshas Chukas, singing two verses from the beginning of the weekly Torah portion (verse 19, and verse 4).

click on this link for the song:

This is the Torah, a person who sacrifices his very life in it's Halls

Nanach Rosh Chodesh Party and Skinny Dipping

B"H yesterday Emes G Nanach hosted a Rosh Chodesh (New Month) party in his house in the desert, and I was zoche to be there, along with SNS, Ronain, Lior, Elimelech and his son Shmuel (who are now living in Gilo), Sholom Bodner, Avi Pretter, and a bunch of other guys, you can find some video footage of the event on my youtube channel

From the party we went to dip in the Spring - Maayan Mabua (flowing), which is a few minutes away. This spring empties out in a few minutes, and then after a few minutes it begins to refill and refills in a few minutes. In the middle of the pool there's a cistern which fills up to about 2-3 minutes, it's a little tricky getting out (jumping in is the easier part), but B"H 3 of us made it (the fourth Nanach with us doesn't know how to swim). B"H we got some great footage of this naked event.

After we went to Shechem (Nabalus) to try to get into Yosef Hatzadik (who's hillula was Rosh Chodesh Tamuz, but being that the Arizal says that the Tzadikim are not by their graves on Rosh Chodesh, the time to go to Yosef is immediately afterwards), but the police didn't allow us to passage.

After 4 steps on the land of Israel (south of Haifa) Rabbenu wanted to go home!

The mitsvah was completed, he had made his 4 steps, he was ready to return but Rabbi Shimon (butler/driver/hassid) refused and said; now that we are here we will visit the holyland. Rabbi Nachman would never insist, so he pleased his driver, but when Rabbi Nachman tried to go to Jerusalem he was accused of being a French spy and was not allowed to travel there.

This "small event" in the life of the Tzaddikk was a terrible disaster for humanity!

Napoleon I (Bonaparte) had been victorious so far and was about to conquer Jerusalem, he was in Akko! His speech, that the French Nation would give Jerusalem over to the Jews as a present was written and ready (he was hoping this would stop anti-semitism in Europe and give Jews a place of refuge).

There is a story of Rabbi Nachman where a man with a stick shoots at a wolf, hears a bang and the wolf drops dead, because the real hunter with the gun shot it at that very moment. This is what was happening here. Rabbi Nachman makes his four steps and conquers the holy land letting Napoleon believe he did it.

BUT.... Rabbi Shimon, D I S S O B E Y S. Similarly Moses tells the nation after the event of the spies NOT to attack the King of Arad, or they will be wiped out. They DISSOBEY THE TZADDIK and get wiped out. 40 years later in the same PLACE, the nation is attacked by the King of Arad, who takes captives. The reason the King of Arad had the power to do this is that the nation of Israel had sinned here previously and the "place" took on this bad trait weakening Am Israel. In the same way, one shouldn't sit in the PLACE of scoffers, even when the scoffers are gone, because the place is condusive to evil speech.

If Rabbi Nachman had taken his four steps and he and Rabbi Shimon had gone home- the land of Israel would have been conquered for Israel by France (Ephraim ?). If the Tzaddik wants something, better execute, the whole world depends on his slightest moves.

Parshas ( weekly Torah portion) Chukas

In this weeks parsha, the Jews got "bugged out" from their travels (for they had gotten so close to the holy land and it seemed that once again they were being led away), and they complained (21:4-5) the verse says that they spoke against God and Moshe, Our sages, brought down in Rashi, say that this denotes that they compared (made equal) the servant (Moshe) to his maker (also see more inferences from the rest of the verse). The Jews of that time are known as the "Dur Daya" - the Generation of Knowledge, a title given to them due to the extreme wisdom and knowledge that was attained by the nation, unparalleled in history. The lowest of the maids merited to high levels of prophecy. Even the most common folk were privy to high esoteric secrets of the Torah. So it is amazing to see that people of such high intellectual caliber, the mistake that they made was to equate Moshe to H"Y. This is the exact opposite of the way the (stupid) people of today think, considering the position of the Tzadik as minor and insignificant C"V. The nation was punished for their complaining, but it does not appear that they were even told off for their mistaken equation, for when they came to apologize (verse 7) they say to Moshe "we have sinned because we spoke against Hashem and You" which would lend it self to same inference as the above, that they are equating Moshe to H"Y, and yet H"Y accepts the apology and sends them a way to allay the punishment. From here we could learn that one is not so bad off for seeing the Tzadik as high as God. In fact we learn in Ethics of Our Fathers, that one is obligated to fear his Rebbe as he fears God.

That being said, I do not think that a mistake would have been went unchecked. When the Jews complained and spoke against God and Moshe, the name of God given is Elohim (this should not be pronounced, instead one can say Elokim), which is a name used in reference to the natural course of events that God allows to conduct the world. The Torah itself referst to Moshe Rabbainu as Eesh HuElohim, the Man of God, which our Holy Sages teach, denotes has power of God. For over this manifestation of God, Moshe Rabbainu had power. When the Jews apologized they mentioned the supreme name of God - YHVH. Originally the Jews made the mistake of associating their management expedient to Elohim, thus they equated the function of Moshe Rabbainu to H"Y in their management. When they apologized they made it clear that they now understood that their management was from H"Y - YHVH, on this Divine level there is no way to consider Moshe Rabbainu expedient what so ever.

Youtube Hafatza

B"H about two months ago in Meron with CW and LG Nanach, I was zoche (merited) to compose a givald Nanach song, and recently I was encouraged by a chasidishe kid at the Western Wall to put it up on the youtube even though I still wasn't zoche to make music for it. So I did, and you can see it below B"H. Today I got the following comment on the video:

Shalom! I am not Jewish, I am Eastern Orthodox Christian and I know very little of Rebbe Nachman or Torah or the mitzvot. But I always love watching you sing with joy for the Lord God. May God's name be praised from the earth! God's blessings!
