Foolishness is the Only Way to Reach Consistent Happiness

A person has to be strong and make himself happy at all times, especially during prayer. A person must force himself with all his energy and might to merit to be happy. Reaching a state of consistent happiness is very hard and heavy on person, more then all other forms of worship. Rebbe Nachman himself said that it appears that a person can only reach consistent happiness through acts of foolishness and humor. That is to make himself foolish and do acts of humor and foolishness. It is only through this that one can reach happiness.

New Nanach Song

B"H H"Y has blessed me with a new nanach song. The words are from the last verse of Koheles - Ecclesiastes. Open up and give Charity, Scream Nanach and get blessing.

When to run and when to walk?

I was at Saba's this morning and met RB, so I asked him for a Hiddush (novelty in Torah). He told me that "it is not a good thing to try to understand (question) what the Tzaddik asks a person to do. Just do it without thinking".

I thought about it and was amazed, is it not the most important thing in the world to try to understand the will of the Tzaddik?

I concluded thus:

If you understand why the Tzaddik is asking for something, then do it as well as you can, at the best time and place. If you don't understand what he is asking you, meaning that you actually dissagree.... then drop EVERYTHING and DO IT IMMEDIATELY because only by doing it, will you have a chance to understand it.

When to walk and when to run...

The hand of the King is a "copy"?

Saba (nanach) said that a copy of the petek is like the original...

If you look at Rabbi Nachmans' short stories you will see one is called "the Hand".
It's maybe the shortest of the short stories. In one line it would say that: "a letter in the handwriting of the King is like the hand of the King itself".

I therefore motion that we no longer refer to the "petek" but to the "copy", meaning to say the "hand" the exact same one that is mentioned in the awsome story of the "Baal Tfila" is now wide open for the whole world to use as a reference.

For G-d to give a person eyes to understand he needs simply to be window-wiped of sexual lusts. If you hate Bilaam, please do not follow after him.

Be Extra Aware of the Petek Tomorrow

The Shulchan Uruch (Code of Jewish Law) in Siman פת"ק - Pete"k [580] brings down a custom to fast on the Friday preceding Shabas Parshas Chukas, to commemorate the day that wagons full of holy books were burnt. From Heaven it was revealed that this is part of the secret of the Aramaic Translation of Unkelos to the first words of this weeks Parsha - זאת חקת התורה - דא גזירת אוריתא - "this is the edict of the Torah"! During the time of the Ramchal there were threats of similar edicts and such sacrilegious desecration were prevalent. The Ramchal said that they could be averted, diffused, and nullified if people would simply read, even without understanding, the Holy Zohar. The Ramchal himself instituted a 24 hour - around the clock - study of the Zohar, and he encouraged every city to have such a guard, guaranteeing that it would be a complete protection and salvation.

Rabbainu said that his holy teachings are propitious to read just as the Zohar, and consequently we should try to read as much as possible of the holy teachings of Nanach, even without understanding, of course Rabbainu says we should put our minds to understanding, but the main thing is to read proficiently out loud.

On occasion some Breslovers have conducted a 24 hour vigilance of hisbodidus. Rabbainu revealed that when a Jew turns to God to speak to Him personally, H"Y so to speak drops whatever it is He was doing (i.e. edicts that we could do without B"H), to give him His full attention. Saba would sing Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman for hours and hours, even for a whole night, and he sweetened the judgement on the whole world.

Depression Prevents Hisbodedute

When a person is happy the entire day, it becomes very easy for him to dedicate an hour where he can break his heart and in front of Hashem. However when a person is sad and depressed, heaven forbid, then it is very difficult for him to do Hisbodedute and talk to Hashem.

Hillula of Rabbi Chananya Ben Tradyon

Rabbi Chananya Ben Tradyon was one of the Asara Harugey Malchus - 10 Leading Sages that were muredered in a torturous fashion by the Romans to attone for the selling of Yosef.

RCB"T is buried (I think) just outside of Tsfas (Safed).

The Talmud (tractate Avoda Zura 17b) says that RCB"T was punished for pronouncing the Shaim Hamiforash - special Divine Name (only pronounced by the High Priest on Yom Kippur in the Holy of Holies) publicly (he did it to learn, otherwise this is something that one God forbid loses their portion in the future world). According to the Kabalists (quoted by the RA"K obm) this in fact was the way of Father Abraham, as the Torah itself states explicitly that Avrohom Uvinu called in the Name of God. Apparently what was proper and exemplierary for Father Abraham was not for RCB"T. That is why H"Y in his great mercy gave us the Holy Awesome Name - Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman - to say, sing, and publicize as much as possible!

The Romans wrapped RCB"T in a Torah scroll and put wet wool over his chest to prolong his agony. His students told him to open his mouth so that he would die quicker, but he refused. RCB"T told his students that he saw the letters of the Sefer Torah flying in the air, as the parchment was burned. When the executioner offered to take away the wet wool if he was guaranteed a portion in the future world, RCB"T agreed, the executioner immediately made the fire even stronger, took off the wet wool, and then he himself jumped into the fire. A Bas Kol - Heavenly Voice rang out announcing that RCB"T and the executioner were welcomed into the Future world. Regarding this Rabbi Yehuda Hanassi cried and said, there are those that acquire the future world in one moment! From here we see the magnitude of doing the Tzadiks bidding!

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Current Events

Recently the United States (and many other countries around the world) has been and is suffering a multitude of natural catastrophes. Most prevalent are the massive floods which have costed many lives, sent whole communities homeless into exile, and (if I got this right) hundreds of millions of dollars.

The Talmud (tractate Nidda 13b) says that it is very basic common knowledge that flooding is caused by spilling seed. The Talmud thus says that men who waste seed God forbid are not to be considered simply as hampering the redemption, for they are doing much worse, they are bringing flooding and destruction to the world [gentiles are forbidden to waste seed, just as Jews are forbidden]. Interestingly, the Talmud in the same sentence discusses homosexuals, also saying that they can not be considered simply as hampering the redemption, for they are deserving of death by stoning. These two perverted acts are unfortunately legal and even encouraged in America and other countries (as their populations dwindle and are being rapidly overtaken by monotheism faiths).

May we all strengthen ourselves not be tainted even by the smallest thought or notion of commiseration to these perverted acts. May the merit of Our Master Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman bring rectification and true knowledge and fulfillment of God to the whole world, like the waters covering the ocean, very soon, amen.

Today is the Hillula of Two Awesome Tanaaim

Today is the yurtzeit (anniversary of death) of Rabbi Yonason Ben Uziel, the greatest disciple of Hillel. RYB"U translated most of the scriptures into Aramaic, until the Earth started shaking, and from Heaven they stopped him from completing his holy work. In the beginning to his translation of Song of Songs, RYB"U lists the ten types of songs, clearly documenting the NEW SONG! RYB"U is buried in Amuka - about 20 minutes from Tsfas/Meron. It is said that going to his holy tzion is propitious for finding one's soul mate. There is a very big turnout there, with full Nanach hafatza B"H and refreshments.

Today is also the hillula (celebration) of Rabbi Yossi Ben Kisma, who is perhaps best known for his teaching in the last chapter of Ethics of Our Fathers, that he would choose to live in a city where there are wise people and scribes, over receiving all the money in the world to live in a place bereft of Torah. Rabbi Yossi in fact merited to be buried in Meron right near Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai.

Always Be Happy

Rebbe Nachman warned us to always be happy and he spoke a lot about this topic as is mentioned in all his holy books. Even more then that he constantly spoke with us personally and warned us many times with numerous warnings that we should always be happy.

Why Korach's sons and other Levites maintain status..

Although Korach leads a rebellion against Israel's divinely anointed leader, the Levites are honored and reinforced by the end of the parasha, why?

Because Moses executed the judgement of a full Sanhedrin on 250 people on his own then saved the whole nation from destruction by pleague through the orders he gave to Ahron. (A Sanhedrin is allowed to execute a criminal every 70 years).

Since the Korach and his men had paid for their sins, and the nation had been "saved" by the Levites- the children of Korach did NOT carry the blemishes of their fathers.

Could it be that the Holocaust is precisely what gave this generation the purity needed to enter the holyland? Let's not squander it away!

This Weeks Haftora (section from the Prophets)

This weeks Haftora is from the book of Judges (Chapter 11), the story of Yiftach. We are told that Yiftach had to run away from his brothers and settled in the Land of Good, and empty men gathered around him and would go out with him. We are told the same thing about King David (Shmuel - Samuel 1:22), when he was running away from King Shaul, that all the broken hearted and distressed joined him.

Just something to consider when you see the lot of us Nanach doing are best to stay as Nanach as possible.

This Weeks Torah Portion - Parshas Chukas

In this weeks Parsha there is one of the ten shira - "songs" that the Jews sang to H"Y, the song praising H"Y and thanking Him for the Well of Miriam, which gave them unlimited water throughout their 40 year journey in the desert (and it also did other miracles). Rashi points out incredulously that the Jews do not mention the Name of God in the shira! Rashi explains that since the Jews could not mention Moshe Rabbainu in the shira, because Moshe Rabbainu was punished on account of the Well ("hitting the rock"), therefore they could not mention the Divine Name! Rashi offers a parable to a King who invited to a banquet, the King says "if my friend is coming, if not you will not find me there". Thus we see the importance of always saying, writing, and spreading the holy and awesome name Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, and only through our spreading of Nanach will H"Y allow His Holy Name to be revealed.

It is interesting that often, when I tell opposers, Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman they reply Hashem Yisburach, or G-d. This is amazing, because it is exactly the above teaching, that upon mentioning the name of the Tzadik, then and only then can we mention God.

Hilula of Rabbi Yishmuel Kohen Gadol - High Priest

Today is the yurtzeit - anniversary of death - of the Tana (time of the Mishna) Rabbi Yishmuel Kohen Gadol. R' Yishmuel is the author of the "Heichulos" 'chambers' an awesome book which reveals secrets of how to ascend to the highest heavenly cerebral chambers, which angels one meets, what they are about, etc..

In the 27th chapter, R' Yishmuel recounts that when he was 13 he saw that everything he was learning from the Bible and Mishna he would forget by the next day. Seeing that the Torah wasn't staying with him, he decided not to eat, drink, wash, be with his wife, not to rejoice, not be happy, not to sing or recite poetry. When R' Nechunya Ben Hakuna (the Master of the Merkava and Heichulos) saw the suffering of R' Yishmuel, R' Nechunya took him from his father's house and brought him to the Temple mount, to the Lishkas Hagazis (one of the special chambers)and made upon him a oath with the grand seal ... immediately my heart lit up like the Eastern Gates and my eyes saw the depths of the Torah and it's paths, from then on I did not forget a single thing from the Torah. [compare this to what Rabbainu said that when he first studying the holy Torah he wouldn't understand anything, and he would cry and cry until H"Y opened up his heart to understand it].

When the Roman's decided to kill 10 of the most holy Tzadikim, Rabbi Yishmuel went up to Heaven to see whether this was the desire of Heaven so that they should accept it with love, otherwise they would easily do away with the Romans.

There are many more awesome stories, teachings, blessings (the Talmud relates that H"Y asked R' Yishmuel to bless him! and documents the words of the blessing), and prayers from R' Yishmuel. May His Merit protect us and stand up for us to help us merit to be faithful to H"Y and His Tzadik Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

R' Yishmuel is buried in a small arab town in the North (about 20 minutes from Meron), and B"H the Nachmanim are there in full force hafatza and with refreshments, may we merit to be there.

Prayer to Wake Up for Chatzot

Worship Hashem With Simplicity

Rebbe Nachman's main desire and goal was to have us perform actual physical actions of holiness without any sophistication. He desired that we should constantly perform holy acts with complete simplicity. He wanted us to learn a lot of Torah, to perform many Mitzvos each day and do much prayer and pleading, all with complete simplicity and no sophistication.

R' Shlomo on Korach

thought this was profound,

"Friends, it has to be clear to us that the whole story of Korach is mamesh the deepest depths. Korach is someone who never did anything wrong in his whole life. The Yismach Moshe says that in one of the previous times (gilgulim) he was here in this world. 'I was one of the people who went out with Moshe from Egypt, and I was there when the fight was going on between Korach and Moshe.I didn't mingle in because I didn't know which one is which. I'll tell you the truth, Korach was so holy that I mamesh did not know if he was holier than Ahron, I did not know. So I stayed neutral'.
What was the whole thing with Korach? Open your hearts to the deepest depths.

Everybody wants to be the holy of holiest, but maybe G-d doesn't want you to be the holy of holiest. Maybe G-d needs you to be less holy and serve him on that level. What do I know? Everybody likes to be like Avraham Avinu, but like the Pshischer says, maybe G-d doesn't need another Avraham Avinu. G-d already had Avraham Avinu, now he needs Simcha Bunim.

You see, it's a very delicate thing. On one hand I have to want to be the holiest and greatest, on the other hand I have to say to G-d 'if you don't want me to be serve on the level of the holy of holiest, it's also okay with me.' This is the highest level there is, most real level.

You see, Korach wanted to serve G-d but he mamesh wanted to be the holiest. Ahron was ready to serve G-d even if he was the lowest, and therefore he was really the holiest. Moshe Rabbeinu was chosen because Moshe Rabbeinu didn't want to go up to Mount Sinai. You know what Moshe Rabbeinu felt on Mount Sinai? 'Gevalt, if G-d would have chosen somebody else, I would have been just as happy, absolutely just as happy, because the most important thing is that Israel should know what G-d has to say'. Since he was the only one who just wanted that G-d should tell us what he wants and it didn't matter to him through who, therefore he was the only one who was chosen. The other ones… it really mattered to them if it was them or someone else. So the moment it matters to you if it is you or somebody else, you cannot go up to Mount Sinai. You cannot be a high priest unless it doesn't matter to you who it is, only then it could be you.

Korach was 'taka' mamesh holy, but like the Ishbitser says, this portion of the week is showing us that even that is not good enough. To be mamesh a yidele is even deeper than that. If l say 'I want to be a Jew because I realize this is the true religion, this is the truth, I want to be holy and I want to be close to G-d'. It's very holy but this isn't where it's at yet. When someone says I want to be a Jew andI don't know why… I just got to be it... gevalt.

Not because I will be holier or closer... I just have to."

B"H a great new Nanach Song

Nanach Shines Through:

running a muck
can't get stuck
like a sitting duck - no no!

just my luck
doesn't it suck
pathetic, yuck - no no!

going under
losing control
like a mad bull
breaking asunder

Nanach shines through
hope comes into view
Nanach restores my faith
blesses me with light and grace

refreshed, brandnew,
the Petek is true - for me and you.

Are you getting the cup?

Most people are proud of their "trophies" ususally cups. We speak about finding happiness "in the bag" while Benjamin found the cup of Josef in his bag. Socrates, after a long life of service for Athens was forced to drink a cup of hemlock. Why does Saba say "if I knew how good it was to suffer I would have asked for more!"

Rabbi Nachman tells us that each "error in the bris" produces devils. Truth is it does.. your ennemies are born "somewhere". When the time comes to repent, you need to wash your sins. This is done by these ennemies finding you and persecuting you. In fact they are trying to get you to go back to your old ways or to prevent you from advancing in your new direction. This is how we come across unbelievably evil people with surprising success.

This is your "cup" who is stronger, the hemlock or socrates? Thank G-d Rabbi Nachman took the cup a long time ago, already won, already finished. No you won't have to finish like Socrates, but the cup will be bitter like the waters Am Israel came to when they left the 49 levels of defilement of Egypt.

Are you getting the cup?

A Chapter of Song

In Oasiyos DiRebbe Akiva (Letters of Rabbi Akiva, homiletic and exegesis of Rabbi Akiva) we learn that the Holy Merciful One God created the world with the sole intent that it should sing to God. We know that the root of all songs is Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, and from there song goes out and every facet of the creation has their own expression of song.

Here I present to you a video of Perek Shira, a compilation of specific verses that each creation sings to H"Y. It is propitious to recite this compilation, and it will help get to the source of all song, Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman.

In this weeks haftora (portion from the Prophets), the Jews ask the Prophet Shmuel for a King. This request invokes great Divine wrath, and the Jews are almost wiped out. The Talmud and the commentators are very perplexed by this, for one of the commandments in the Torah is to make a King, so why are the Jews so faulted?! There are various answers given, in my book Likutay Nanach I address this pointing out that today it is very understandable. We see with our own eyes how people go around just saying Mushiach, Messiah, Mashiach.... This guy is Mushiach, or this guy should be, or he was.... All of their Judaism is just some conspiracy to be privy to who is Mushiach. This is a terrible sin, appointing the Mushiach is a commandment, one of many others, and in fact in only comes after others (as taught by our Sages, also see the commentators on Likutay Moharan 6), and moreover the only real way of bringing the Mushiach is by following the holy ways of Rabbainu Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, so adopting to a practice that one's main goal is just Mushiach is very counter-productive.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman!

Weekly Torah Portion - Korach

Previously we pointed out how this weeks Parsha is very prevalent to Breslov, as the opposers continue to deny the leadership of Rabbainu, the soul of Moshe Rabbainu, just like Korach.

Rashi at the beginning of the Parsha points out that this Parsha is beautifully interpreted in the exegesis of Rabbi Tanchuma. This is kind of strange for Rashi to do, for Rashi comes to explain the simple understanding of the Torah, and whenever he sees a necessity to explain or provide an exegesis he does so without fanfare, so why over here does he give this introduction and point of reference? This is an unbelievable allusion to the issue at hand. Tanchuma, is a name based on the same root as Nachman! Tanchuma (with the word) has the gimatria, numerical value, as Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman (with the letters)! Thus Rashi, with Divine Inspiration, is alluding that this chapter will be fully developed with Rabbainu.

Set Torah Study Can Save From Sin

Even those people that are very far from holiness and are so trapped by evil that they commit sins on a regular basis, heaven forbid, can be helped through Torah study. Torah has a great power, so powerful is it that it can take these people away from the sins they habitually commit. If a person makes himself a set schedule and obligation to study Torah for a set amount of time each day, no matter what. Such a person will surely merit to escape the trap of evil due the great power of the Torah.

R' Moshe Feinsteins Haskama

I was recently at a wedding in Lawrence where I met Berel Feinstein, R' Moshe's grandson. He told me he was there when Saba came to meet R' Moshe in 1984. He told me that he met Saba and saw the Petek, and was also present for Saba's meeting with R' Moshe. I asked him what his reaction was to meeting Saba and seeing the Petek. He told me he didn't really know what to make of the Petek but that he felt immediately that Saba was a very special person. He told me that Saba came with two guys, one of whom was the grandson of the Baba Sali. He told me that R' Moshe was shown the Petek and then Saba told him the story behind the Petek. When I asked him what R' Moshe's reaction was to it he said that R' Moshe didn't really say much but rather just mostly listened to Saba. He also confirmed that R' Moshe wrote the haskama. I asked him if R' Moshe accepted the Petek, his reply was "well, he didn't not accept it." So I said, "considering in the haskama he described the petek as "a very wondrous thing" (among other things), it seems preety clear that R' Moshe accepted it." To this he agreed with me.
My wife, who was also there, then interupted the discussion and asked him why he's not Na Nach now and doesn't wear a Na Nach beanie. He just kind of shrugged. she exclaimed to him "we want to make you Na Nach!" To that also she did not get much of a reply.
The last thing I asked him was what he thought R' Moshe would think of the people following Saba today (a.k.a the Na Nachs). He told me that R' Moshe always approved of anyone who is following their Rebbe sincerely.

Do Not Be Satisfied With An Exemption

When a person wants to do a Mitzvah or righteous act but is prevented from doing so by circumstances that are beyond his reach, according to the Torah he is exempt from having to carry out this Avodah. This works well for a person that is just trying to fulfill his obligation. However a person that has a really deep desire to perform the actual Avodah, should not be satisfied with the exemption. For what good is an exemption if he wants to do the actual action. If a person is then strong in his desire and yearning to perform the actual action although he is now exempt, this desire in itself is very good. Even though he is now being forced against his will and does not merit to perform the Avodah, the above thoughts are very beneficial.

Likutay Nanach is a little book (Hebrew), 125 large pages, that discusses many facets of Nanach, it's available for free download at B"H this is mamash Givald! Already different people have began to read it, including a very strong opposer who wishes to rebuttal. B"H there should be many more published.

Great blessings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman!

Widowers Should Recite Parshas Ushum

A person who's wife passed away should recite the Torah section pertaining to the Usham sacrifice each day, until he marries another woman.
(Parshas Usham = Vayikrah Chapters 5 verse 20-26 and Chapter 7 verse 1-10)

Cured Through Any Food and Drink

Every single herb and grass has a unique power to cure some specific illness. All this is only needed for a person that does not have strong faith in Hashem, is not Shomer Habris and other people are degraded in his eyes. However someone that has complete faith, is Shomer Habris and never degrades others does not need this. His healing is not dependent on specific herbs. He can be cured through any type of food and drink and does not have to wait until the specific herbs are attained.

Parshas Korach

This Parsha is particularly pertinent to the Nanach cause. As the opposers keep saying "there are alot of rabbis" and similar things, exactly like Korach. Saba himself likened the opposers to Korach. We must accept Rabbainu as the Head of Israel, only Rabbainu can properly guide and lead all of Israel, each and every one of us.

Write Nanach!

This Shabos I realized that the first word of the Torah - Biraishis - has the numerical value as "write (or wrote) Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman"!!!!!

Hafatza runs it's course, just gets better

Before Shabos I was sitting in front of the Western Wall giving out a Nanach music disc and talking to people about Nanach. There were to bochurim (boys) who were aprehensive about taking the disc, and just when they decided to go for it, some guy (a zil.) comes over to them and tell them that it's forbidden! He tell them that all the rabbis say that it's forbidden! It's forbidden to even talk to me.... So the bochurim return the discs to me, but they linger around as I continue my holy work speaking with people and giving out the disc. Shortly after the bochurim decided that they will indeed take the disc, so I tell them, but it's forbidden... So they tell me not to worry... B"H there is no comparison how they got the disc in the end to what would have been if they had just taken it in the first place.

Determination and Effort Counts Like Sacrifices

When people want to become righteous and enter the service of Hashem, they often have to go through a lot of confusion and tremendous opposition. Due to the great confusion and opposition they can not even settle their minds to see how they should act and move forward. Everything they want to do related to the service of Hashem, is hard for them to do properly. Know, that this in itself that they trying hard and determined to do an act of holiness or to purify themselves with some purification, even if they do not end up finishing it properly, the effort and determination by itself is the same concept as the offering of sacrifices.

When a person is trying to pray and they do not allow him. When they confound him with all types of confusion and he needs to put in great effort just trying to pray. In such cases, even if he did not merit to pray properly, the effort, determination and self sacrifice that he put into the prayer with all his energy, are in itself a concept of sacrifices.

This is the same with all other actions of Holiness and purification that a person does to purify himself. Even if he does not merit to purify himself as properly as he wished, the actual suffering and confusion that he had to undergo in his attempt to purify himself, although it did not work out, this in itself is the same concept as sacrifices.

Therefore a person must always try to do his part and place great effort into serving Hashem according to his abilities. Whatever a person can do, he should do. Even though it is very hard, appearing to him that they are not allowing him to proceed and that he is being greatly distanced. Even if he is not able to properly perform any action of Holiness, still he must do whatever he can and Hashem should do what is fitting in his eyes.

40 years for 40 days..harsh! why 40?

40 days are the days Moses went up the mountain. Visiting Israel for 40 days is a great mitsvah, every 4 steps creates a good angel etc.. Why does this become a curse?

The two spies sent by Joshua spend three nights in a whore house with a very attractive proffessional, but make a solemn oath that later brings them fame and fortune to all three!

Walking for G-d in ennemy territory and sleeping in a brothel are not the same form of intelligence work.

The number 40 is a big hint, and reveals a complete story..

When G-d removed the holy spirot from Moses and gave it to the 70 elders, two started spreading intimate rumors about Moses and Tsipporah's conjonctual relationship. Tsipporah's father, lost a bit of interest in his son in law at this point because Jitro still was on his very high level of "Gentile Saint" not only did he lose a "havruta" and had to deal with his daughter's new condition, but he must not take over the leadership position in Israel. The Presidents of the tribe, did not accept their new allegience to a body of the 70 "enlightened". Joshua even wanted to kill the rumor spreaders. 40 days is to show that they, the presidents were going to oppose the Sanhedrin on their return and they would manage the conquest of the Holyland, being brave heros. Things would be done through war techniques and proper leadership not faith!

The revolt continued, but these presidents were quickly humiliated and destroyed by the Lord.

Look at us today, have we learned? If Moses hadn't said "Uman" in anger, as if Josef can feed the whole world and he cannot feed Israel, he would have kept his holy spirit and none of this would have happened. But Josef and Uman (Nachman)have in common that they feed the whole world so all these events happened in anticipation of Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman since the Gueula was not supposed to happen at that time.

Bothers please make the right choices for yourselves, the Gueula will occure when G-d allows it, and the one that tells us how to facilitate it is Rabbi Na Nach.

Hashem has a plan.

Please say tehillim for my father, Eliezer Ben Simcha, he was just diagnosed with c'v fatal cancer and multiple embolisms. May Hashem bless him to live to visit E'Y and see grandchildren. Shabbat Shalom.

All Movements, Thoughts and Actions Are Taken Into Account

All movements, thoughts and actions that are done for any act of Holiness are counted and recorded. There is no movement or thought whatsoever that is lost. When a person merits to break through all the obstacles and finishes an act of Holiness, then all the movements, thoughts and confusion that he had to deal with before he managed to pass and break through all the barriers, are then turned into very holy and high spiritual elements. When he was deliberating whether to perform this act of Holiness and the obstacles were surrounding him from all sides, all these obstacles, thoughts and movements are then recorded above for his benefit. Every single movement that he had to take before managing to perform the Holy act is taken into consideration. Fortunate is one who merits to jump over all the obstacles and manages to perform an act of Holiness.

Be Strong and Courageous

A call for all Na Nanachs to be Strong and Courageous in their Hafatza.

The entire world depends on us.

Spying on this weeks Parsha (Torah portion)

This weeks parsha, Shilach ("send") starts with the sending of spies to the Holy Land. The spies (10 of the 12) failed in their mission, when they persuaded the Jews to reject Israel, and brought great calamity, on themselves and all the future generations. Subsequently when spies were sent, they were worried about failure so they themselves conquered the target (Parshas Chukas 21:32 Rashi). Rabbainu came to the Holy Land and conquered it for us, telling his followers that although his personal journey had been overwhelmingly full of impediments, and hardships, and demanded complete self sacrifice, subsequently for everyone else it would be much easier (even still Rabbi Nussun had his own trials making it...).

In Ebay Hanachal - Blossoms of the Springs (available for free at, the letters Saba Yisroel sent to the President of Israel, Zalman Shazar (the guy on the 200 Shekel bill), Saba signs off on one of the letters (57)
ישראל בר המרגל ומפתה אל תכלית האמת
"Yisroel Ber who spies out and entices to the true purpose"
It seems that Saba was rectifying the terrible sin of the spies, one of the last steps necessary for redemption!

This is a really good new article about Nanach from a Jewish Daily

Amongst others it quotes Yisroel Blumenthal, B"H!

Nanach Weddings

B"H Sunday night there's a Nanach wedding in Chadera.
Monday night in Cholon.

Signature of the hands, of the legs signature within signature.

Look up Likutey Tfilos 22 towards the end and be amazed!

The hands (6th beggar- in the stories) = Rabbi Nachman of Breslev

The legs (7th beggar- in the stories) = Rabbi Na Nach

The signature within the signature: Na Nach Nachma Nachman

The swastika is not a spider, it's legs and arms moving in one direction. The Na Nach is "an explosion" of the swastika system.

There is alot more to say about the title here .....feel free to add your comments.

Even the Wicked Are Filled With Remorse

Wicked people are also filled with thoughts of remorse and yet they do not even know what thoughts of repentance are. However this itself that they strengthen themselves in their wrong doing, is a direct result of their remorse. When thoughts of remorse enter their minds they strengthen themselves and try harder to do evil.

This can be compared to two men fighting. When one sees that he is being defeated by his companion, he gathers the remainder of his strength and starts fighting with all his might. Here too, when the evil sees a little good awakening it strengthens itself even more.

This is a big rule in serving Hashem. Every person according to their level and the amount of effort they are using to enter into the service of Hashem, according to this the evil inclination strengthens itself against them. One has to be wise about this and come up with plans how to wage war against the evil, each time it comes back and restrengthens itself. Fortunate is the one who merits to win this war.

New Article about Na Nach Nachma Nachman MiUman!

One of the visitors to just showed me a site that has a post about the Nanach hafatza on Israel's Yom Haatzamos (independance/bones). In the comments there is contention on the Nanach's activity, so if you're up to it please put in a good word.

Learn Through It Fast

When a person studies topics related to violence or disaster such as the laws of mourning, he should not dwell much in these places. He should not ponder and think too deeply into these sections of Torah, since thoughts of the mind are very powerful and influential. Therefore when a person reaches these sections of Torah, he should study and pass through them as quickly as possible.

[Editors note: Once we have seen that there are parts of Torah that can be studied very quickly, the same probably applies to the Laws of Ishus, Tznius, Nidah etc. for people that have not yet purified their minds and can not control their thoughts. If any one can source this in the teachings of Rabbanue, please add it to the comments of this post.]

Appealing for help from H"Y and His Tzadik

Very often the Nanach are accused of "praying to Rabbi Nachman". This is a very dubious bout of semantics to discredit the Nanach. The word prayer obviously is a reference to worship of God, where as when one asks a favor or any request from a person this is not called prayer. The truth is that real tzadikim do not even speak to other people, they live only with God, when they speak to people they are speaking to the way they perceive God channeled in the way that person is present before them. Most people however, would not consider it blasphemy to ask a favor from a friend or someone with the capability of helping them. Either way, both tzadikim and ordinary people will a ask other people for help. A real tzadik only becomes greater with his death. All the bounty and influx of all the worlds are channeled through the Tzadik, as the Talmud gives one example "the whole world is nourished for Chanina my son" [the Baal Shem Tov explains that the world "for" in Hebrew also means "path", i.e. that the sustenance of the whole world was being in R' Chanina's pipeline]. Therefor anyone with any sense would ask the Tzadik to help him get whatever it is he needs.

In last weeks parsha (portion) - BihaAloascha - some of the wicked found themselves in trouble, so what did they do (11:2) - they screamed to Moshe, Rashi explains their actions with a parable to a worldly King who was very upset with his son, so the son goes to someone his father loves and asks him to take up his cause with his father the King. Chazal (our sages) found no problem with their action, and on the contrary found it sound and proper.

Breslov (Nanach) Makes it Easy

Since every day and situation is different, every person needs piles and piles of advice and techniques how to properly serve Hashem or even to get through day to day life. Unfortunately there are many people that currently follow Mefursamim shel Sheker. Even if they frequently consult with their Mefursom, it is very unlikely that he can give them even a minor part of the advice needed to get through life. Even if their Mefursom wrote a book that is always accessible to them, it still does not contain even a fraction of the advice needed. Even if their Mefursam wrote many books, they still will not get close to covering the information needed for survival. Even if their Mefursam belongs to a large dynasty that existed for many years and produced many texts, it still will not give them the advice needed for all areas of their life.

Even if a person does not follow any Mefursamim but relies on his own perception of earlier texts from true Tzadikim, he is still not covered. He will be confused by many outdated techniques and contradiction in between the various paths given by past Tzadikim.

With Nanach it is all easy. Rebbe Nachman gives advice for anything and everything a person will ever need. There is no confusion at all, if Rebbe Nachman say it, we do it. If Rebbe Nachman did not say it, we do not have to do it.

Breslov with Nanach

There are a number differences of having Breslov with Nanach as opposed to assuming Nanach is not needed. Here is one of them.

Often people that have Breslov without Nanach use it as a personal tool for self growth. For example they will try to be happy, holy, reach higher levels, gain knowledge and understanding etc. through the teachings. However it is often on a personal and selfish level.

By contrast with Nanach it is all about the Tzadik, about living attached to Rebbe Nachman, about breathing Rebbe Nachman, about using every ounce of our energy to spread Rebbe Nachman.

Talk to Hashem Like a Child

All Jews are called children of Hashem. It is therefore fitting for us to talk and express all our suffering in front of Him, like a child complaining in front of his Father.

Confusing Thoughts

When a person gets confounded by confusing thoughts, if he strengthens himself and tries to perform the best he can under the circumstances set by his mind, often Hashem will send him supportive thoughts afterwards.

Children of Hashem

Even if it appears to a person that according to his actions he is not considered a son of Hashem, he must still remember that Hashem called us his children regardless of how we act. Even if Hashem is now exiling you from being a son, let him do as he wishes but you have to do your part and still try to act like a son.

Everyone Wants A Tikkun Klali

I merited to spend a lot of time by Dovid Hamelech this Shevuos and numerous times I saw people requesting and searching for a Tikkun Klali to recite by the Tzion. Most of these people looked like they had little connection to Rebbe Nachman but they were all desperately trying to get hold of the Tikkun Haklali.

As Saba said the world is being drawn to Rabbanue.

Even without miracles H"Y provides

Many people say that it is forbidden to rely on miracles, and one must work to earn a livelyhood. The Ramban (Rabbi Nachman...) in this weeks parsha says that is blasphemy, the Ramban says that even through natural means H"Y provides the needs of His creation. For the full quotation see the Hebrew (It was not surprising to find that on one of the database programs I have, which is very into MSS may H"Y save us from the like, they left out this piece from the Ramban!)

B"H new Nanach Song

It's not the best (especially since part of the program I used just expired), but I still enjoy it:

Glory and Honor

Study the Tora to reveal the Glory of God

In this weeks Parsha (portion) BiHaAloascha (when you raise - light up - the candles of the Menora) H"Y commands that the Leviites should start their duties at the age of 25 (verse 8:24) Rash"i (based on the Talmud) asks that previously (4:3) H"Y commanded that they should start their duty at the age of 30. Rash"i explains that at the age of 25 they were required to begin learning the laws of service, which they would study for 5 years, and at the age of 30 they would begin their actual service. Rash"i concludes: from here we learn that a student who doesn't see a nice sign in his studies for 5 years, will never see it. In the introduction to the Arizal's Kabalistic work, Eitz Chaim, R' Chaim Vital brings this maxim to prove that a person's main study should be to find and reveal the inner light of H"Y. In the introduction to Talmud Esser Sfiros this is further explained, very simply. This adage that a student who didn't see success in 5 years will never be successful, is seemingly preposturious and borders on blasphemy, for studying the Tora is our very life, the Tora is the word of H"Y, the Jews are one with the Tora! The correct understanding of the axiom is simple, and much more accurately understood in the words choosed. "a nice sign" is a reference to what Rabbi Meir says in Ethics of Our Fathers (beginning of Chapter 6), that whoever studies Tora Lishma (for the sake of revealing H"Y) merits to many things ... revealed to him secrets of the Tora ... etc.. These many things, many of them enumerated in the mishna, are the "nice sign". Thus the dictum is saying, that if a person begins studying the revealed Tora, like the Talmud, and after 5 years of studying he still has not seen the effects of the "nice sign" this is an indication that he will never be able to achieve the desired intent of studying Torah by studying the revealed Torah, and he must dedicate all his interest and focus on searching to reveal H"Y through the study of the secrets of the Torah.

Saba was the inspiration for Rabbi Shimon and Rabbi Eliezer.

Today is 51st day of the Omer, Petek day-- I gave that lesson last year.

This year I was studying Gemara with the new group at EBAY during Shavuot they were going over the issue of studying with or without working (Rabbi Shimon and Rabbi Ishmael) In a related passage, Rabbi Eliezer and his father come out of the cave and everyone Rabbi Eliezer looks at gets consumed by fire and Rabbi Shimon brings them back to life. Then the two see an old man a Zaken a Saba de Sabin and he is carrying TWO sets of Hadass for Havdalah. SO they ask why two the Halacha says ONE, to which the old man replies "Zachor ve Shamor" you need two. A voice was heard that they should go back to the cave for another 12 months, not years (like previously). Indeed they wrote the Zohar during that year.

It is only thanks to Saba, Ebay Ha Nachal, that the Zohar was written!

The Torah in Likutey Moharan which the Na Nachs were studying was affirming that a man needs only to pray and have faith since G-d does everything. Apparently Saba didn't study the Halacha, but Hashem made sure he did the mitsvah the right way, and because of that we have the Zohar today.

The Petek repeats the word AVODA (work) three times. The saying is tzedaka, tora, tfila or something....but Saba says Avoda, avoda, avoda. This means PRAYER, PRAYER, PRAYER.

Hasidic Goy Goes Nanach

In an article in this week's Jewish Chronicle, the largest UK Jewish newspaper Chas Newkey-Burden tell how he got into Hasidism and more recently into Nanach.

"When I was shopping on Jerusalem's Ben Yehuda Street last summer, and the NaNachs rolled up with their trance music and beaming smiles, my happiness was complete."

Empty Desires and Lust

Lusts of the physical world can be compared to rays of light. When they enter the home, sunrays appear like pillars due to the radiance of the sun. It appears that one can grab these pillars of light. Yet when they are grabbed and grasped, there is nothing in the hand. All the desires and lusts of this world are exactly like this.

An Empty Yetzer Hara

The Yetzer Hara is comparable to a man who runs amongst a crowd of people with his hand closed and no one knows what it contains. He deceives each person and asks him to guess what he is holding. To each person it appears that he is holding what he desires. Therefore everyone starts chasing after this man, since each person believes that his hand contains what he desires. In the end this man opens his hand and it is empty.

This is exactly how the Yetzer Hara deceives the entire world and gets everyone to chase after him. He deceives each person making him believe that his hand contains what he desires, each person according to his personal foolishness and lust. At the end the Yetzer Hara opens up his hand and it is completely empty since there is no one that can completely satisfy his lusts by following his Yetzer Hara.

Reb Noson on the Blessing of Wealth

There is a beautiful commentary on the blessing of the Kohenim in parashat Naso by Reb Noson. It relates directly to the issue of money, which is appropriate at this time, for Reb Noson explains in LH on Shavuot that this is the key to the receiving of the Torah and the revelation of Hashem’s providence.

There Reb Noson explains that the יברכך is the blessing of money. He says that the Kohen is the man of chesed and that this blessing can only come through chesed. The man of chesed through his blessing is able to reveal the חסד חנם, the free given love that Hashem bestowed to sustain the world before the Torah was given. The Torah reveals the Hashem’s creating the world through the ten sayings at the beginning of בראשית. These ten sayings are found in all things and the enclothe Godliness and chesed. These ten sayings are the source of the power of the Kohenim saying their bracha.

ישמרך is protection from harmful spiritual forces. Work and the earning of money comes from the curse given to Adam. Therefore, there is a negativity that accompanies this activity. I think of this as the ego that believes that he has earned money through its own efforts and is inflated by its success or status. The Torah commands us as one of the ten remembrances each day to remember that Hashem gives us the power to earn a livelihood. This humbleness and acknowledgement protects the bracha we receive. This is also done through the giving of tzedaka.

In the second verse of the blessing the Kohen says that Hashem should shineHis face and give us grace. Reb Noson explains that all grace comes through attachment to Moses, the Tzaddik HaEmet, who had grace in the eyes of Hashem. And as we know from the first Torah or Rabbeinu, grace is the key to all tefilah.

Finally, the Kohen says, May Hashem lift His face and grant you peace. Reb Noson says that this is the purpose of everything. The revelation to the whole world how Hashem’s will is done by the Jewish people. Then the world is complete.

We can also see this that when a Jew follows in the path of the Tzaddik, then he achieves grace and his prayers are answered and he receives blessing, the revelation of Hashem’s chesed. In turn, the Jew gives tzedeka and thus also does an act of chesed. This creates shalom, completeness, as here on the earth below we follow in the way of Hashem and His Tzaddik.

I was also thinking about this in light of Torah ז. Rabbeinu teaches us the relationship of emunah to tefilah to miracles and the land of Israel. He explains that emunah is expressed in tefilah. Tefilah is a request to change the nature of things. In order to change things, we have to seek to go above nature, to request a miracle, so to speak. This is only possible through the connection to the Land of Israel, which is the part of the physical world that reveals Godliness and that which is above nature.

So many of us struggle with the issue of parnosa and here are many of the keys. The main key I think is to recognize that this blessing is an act of Hashem’s chesed. In order to merit such a blessing, it is only reasonable that we are the kind of people that acknowledge and bless Hashem for all the chesed He provides to us in our lives. If not, why would Hashem give us more blessing? It is not that Hashem wants to hold back, God forbid. If we receive a blessing and don’t give proper thanks and praise, then this reveals a lack in our emunah and causes prosecuting angels to speak out against us that we are not worthy. Hashem holds back in order to protect us from that. But the answer is very simple, we need to acknowledge all the good and kindness that Hashem does for us and that creates the proper spiritual vessels within us to receive greater shefa.

All this is dependent upon emunah, because emunah is the power to acknowledge Hashem and His goodness, especially when it is hidden. This gives us the power to pray and the confidence that we can trust in Hashem’s power to change the limits of nature and our worldly condition and thus reveal Hashem’s love and providence, which is the revelation of the Land of Israel.

I wanted to share some of my reflections about this but there is a lot more in Reb Noson’s commentary and said more clearly so take a look. Shavua tov, chodesh tov and Chag Sameach!

Philosophy is Very Damaging

It is very damaging to learn any form of philosophy since it causes many questions and confusion. This then weaken a persons fear of punishment and in turn support his natural tendency to follow his desires and evil inclination. Therefore you will never find any person that became truly righteous and G-d fearing from studying books based on philosophy. Although these books do occasionally discus good traits etc., still their damage far outweighs any benefits they might have since they greatly confuse the mind of a person.

Saba in the siddur!

Not only Rabbi Nachman, Rabbi Shimon, Rabbi Nata, also rabbi Kapara

After Rabbi Kapara "Hashem tzevahot..." is repeated three time etc.. (we stand up for this)

Then comes Rabbi ABBAII (Odesser Ber Israel Yerushalayim)

The we stand up again for "ana be koach..."

You learn from this that SABA needs standing before and after his section, while during HIS section it is optional! The ketoret (nose)(simcha)(complete sacrifice) is described under the section Rav N, but it's use only comes with ABBAII- like the crown which is the name Na NACH!

Think about who Rabbi Kappara is? stay away from sweets!

Na Nach is great for the environment

Na Nach is very beneficial for the environment. When you see a Na Nach van pumping music that causes people to dance in the streets, that reduces a persons weight, helps a persons blood circulation. Its a great work out.

Fear of Punishment

A person should serves Hashem mainly from fear. Even Tzadikim mostly serve Hashem out of fear and those that constantly serve Hashem from love are few. Fear of punishment is the main element of fear. There is a higher level of fear called Fear of His Awesomeness, that is to fear Hashem due to His tremendous greatness and power. Since not everyone merits this, the main service of Hashem for most people has to be based on fear of being punished for doing wrong. Every person is born with evil and it is their natural tendency to be pulled after this evil, that is after the desires and lusts of the physical world. It is only because fear of punishment that a person breaks his lusts and desires and starts entering into the service of Hashem.

Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman

Will be forever loving Hashem - oh ya!
will be forever loving Hashem
Some they say see them dancing up and down the streets,
They say Na all the people they meet,
And theres no need to worry, because,
Rebbe Nachman Showed us the way to cast away the fears

will be forever loving Hashem! ya
will be forever loving Hashem! ooOh yaaaa
and will be forever greatful to Rebbe Nachman!
Forever yes and ever
there'll be no end!
Rebbe Nachman is like a river to me,
a never ending river of love you see,
so no matter what stages,oh stages of harshness we see,
we can drink from The Rebbes never ending streams,
its all in His Books you see,
No Matter what sadness,oh sadness we see, its all turned into happiness,
So will never be sad no matter what we see,
because Rebbe Nachman showed us the way,
Will Be Forever yeah!

Will Be Forever Loving Hashem, Oh ya!
Will Be Forever Loving Hashem!
And Will Be Forever Greatful to Rebbe Nachman!
Forever and everrrrr!
cause there is no end.

Na Nach Nachma Nachman Meuman hahahaha
Just be happy my friends!

Teshuvah is High Even Above Torah

Even when one falls tremendously to wherever he falls, may the Merciful One save us, it is forbidden for him to give up on himself. Teshuvah is high, even above Torah. Therefore despair does not exist in this world. If a person merits all his sins we be transformed into merits. It is a rule, that from all falls and stumblings that exists in reality, one can easily return to Hashem since there is no boundaries to His greatness. One main thing that everything is dependent on is that a person should not give up from crying out to Hashem, begging and pleading to Him at all times.

This Weeks Haftora (section from the Prophets)

This weeks Haftora is about the birth of Shimshon and the beginning of career. One of the Nanach feels very strongly that Shimshon corresponds to the 7th beggar in Rabbi Nachman's story of the seven beggars of Sipuray Maasiyos - Tales of Ancient Times. Rabbainu never revealed the story of the 7th, and last beggar (and this is the 7th week of the Omer, in preperation for the Torah), just that this beggar did not use his feet for this world at all. Shimshon was lame, and according to a Medrash was unable to walk. In Proverbs (Mishley) it says: טוב מראה עינים מהלך נפש, "better is the looking of the eyes from the passage of the soul" which is understood and taught in the Talmud, that one gains more pleasure from looking (at promiscuity) than from the actual (sexual) act {going of the soul}, from here we see that the epitome or root of the function of the feet is in the eyes and imagination (see LKM 76. there are many other connections found, e.g. the Talmud teaches that large steps weaken the eyesite).

Shimshon is seen as one of the most ardent antagonists against the palistinians, who he fought and killed, and ultimately was defeated due to their treachery. Obviously the story of Shimshon has a deeper meaning. The Talmud reveals that Shimshon's downfall was because (on his level) he went after his eyes, and thus he was punished by having his eyes gauged L"U. From this we can learn that the klipa (evil husk) represented by the palistinians is the desire of imagination, going after one's eyes. This seems to be the predominant trouble and challenge of today. A little while ago, hundreds maybe thousands of palistinians dressed up as characters of a movie to try to make some type of point, the point that I took from this is that they are living very much in a non reality of imagination and falsehood.

King David once fell captive into the hands of one of the palistinian kings, i.e. he fell into the lusting of the imagination, the only way he escaped was by acting crazy and of course - writing graffiti on the walls. Rabbi Nachman teaches that in order to be happy one often has to do an act of craziness, and this is essential and necessary, for it it a mitzva to always be happy. Only by being happy can one escape the depression and negative influences of the culture that basks in grim opressing lusting of the eyes and imagination. Thus we find that Shimshon used all types of antics almost as if he was playing practical jokes on the palistinians (e.g. he took the city's gates to the top of the mountain, he tied foxes tails together and set them loose, he challenged them with riddles), but the he was unable or unwilling to go all the way like King David and be outright crazy. However in the end Shimshon definitely "brought the whole house down"!

As an aside I once saw a very nice explanation, it says the parents of Shimshon were visited by an angel, but they did not recognize him as angel, they thought it was just a holy personage. They brought a sacrifice to God and the angel went up in the fire. The verses continue to say that the angel never returned, and then they understood that it was angel. The obvious question is, why didn't they understand that when they saw the angel go up in the fire? So I saw this great interpretation, that holy people can do all types of things, but when they saw that he didn't come back to take credit, "I told you so", then they knew that it must have been an angel.

Single people find solace in this weeks Parsha

This weeks Parsha (Torah portion), Parshas Nusso (raise, count), includes the Parshas Hanisee-im, the offerings of the Ministers of the 12 tribes. Rabbi Nachman writes in Sefer Hamidos - Book of Attributes - (available on the info site), that someone who has a hard time finding his soulmate should acustom himself to reading the Tora portion of the offerrings of the Nisseim

For one possible explanation see a previous post:

Also in this weeks Parsha (about a month ago I mistakingly posted this to a different parsha) the Kohanim (priests) are commanded to bless the Jews on a daily basis. There is a special way the priests have to hold their hands and position their fingers when they give the blessings. Each hand is held out in front of them, palm down, the thumb is stretched out, and the first two fingers are kept together pulled to one direction as far as possible, and the last two fingers are kept together and pulled to the other direction as far as possible, so that each hand's finger formation resembles the letter shin - or 'w'.

This is amazing because the Nanach hand signature, also forms a formation similar to the letter shin - or 'w', primarily utilizing only the thumb and first two fingers. This shows how Nanach is the root of all blessing!

current events

recently I spotted two things in the news that are quite interesting to a Nanach.

One: a new spring was found in the center of Jerusalem, I do not think the secular government is interested in letting us purify ourselves in the water, but H"Y did create the world, so hopefully B"H He will grant us to use His creation for what His designation.

Two: Rabbainu said that in the time of Mushiach there would be a machine that a person could fly casually and quickly. It seems that for about $100,000 it is already possible to do buy such a machine (they have just developed a parachute for safety measures), the jetpack is being further developed.

Hillula of Shmuel Hanavi

Today is the day. It started last night, a very big party.

Shmuel Hanavi used to travel all around Israel teaching the Jews about God. Today this is the job of the Nanach.
