Where to Pour Out Your Heart

A few days ago I was speaking to a yeshiva boy and I was telling him how Rabbainu taught that everything one is learning, he should be praying for their actualization. This is very hard, dry, and restricting to the study of the Talmud, and therefor one should be princibly studying the holy teachings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman MiUman. Even still if one is stuck learning the Talmud he should do his best to pray for what he's studying.
The boy told me that he was learning about the receiving of the blood of a sacrifice, which has to be done in a certain place, the boy explained that this rule has two aspects, one, the requirement to receive the blood in the proper place (positive), and the other, not to spill the blood in the wrong place (negative).
The spilling and receiving of the blood is like the pouring out of the soul (as it says in the Tora, the blood is the soul), thus upon learning such rules, one should pray to be able to pour out his soul to the Holy Blessed One God and to have self sacrifice for Him. Rabbainu teaches that there are special place where one should be extra ardent in concentration and exertion in prayer - in those places where was in confronted with distracting thoughts. Rabbainu also taught that one should be very careful not to express desires for unholy things. Thus we have a very simple and straightforward way to translate and actualize such learning into prayer.
Great blessings of Na Nach Nachmu Nachman Meuman!
