The Tam and the Wise Guy

After the Tam was appointed as Minister of all the Ministers and the Wise Guy came to him for justice, the Tam recognized the Wise Guy but the Wise Guy didn't recognize his friend the Tam because of his grandeur. The Wise Guy was in a pitiful state, he was penniless and the Tam had to give him clothes but the Tam still recognized him, because he never valued the grandeur of the Wise Guy and saw him for what he was...

Like the King's invisible cloths.

Rabbenu says the Tam could alwayse tell who was guilty and who was innocent, he could alwayse tell the truth- because he himself told the truth!

That is Saba by definition. The way he got there was through a life of trials and devotion. He's the greatest in these ereas.

Na Nachs cannot avoid this difficult path.
