Sefira Beards

Funny thing... I do not remember seeing one sefira beard in Tzfat this year. I remember in the US everywhere you turn after Paseach you see sefira beards, yet in Tzfat I can not recall seeing even one.

Then I realized the reason is because in Tzfat people actually look Jewish year round, with a beard and payos. Unlike the US where everyone tries to look like and emulate the Goyim.

Is it not a horrific crime that in the Erev Rav yishives they will force buchorim to shave their beard and cut off their payios. If a kid insists on having them many times he will even get kicked out, R"L.

also, why is it permissable to write on the walls of buildings and on billboards and such which do not belong to you especially when you are doing it in the name of a tzaddick???

Most nanachs are painted on national property. Since Rebbe Nachman is the leader of the nation of Israel national property is used to spread his name.

Yea, bochrim with beards in my yeshiva used to be forced to the floor and someone would shave it off, in the old days with a single blade shaver, now with a "Kosher Shaver" now in the mesivta they are expelled and in bais medrash its muttar
