Tikkun Chatsos is a practice that is praised in the Zohar and also in Rebbi Nachman's books. It is a traditional Jewish practice to go to bed early and awake at midnight and pray and learn torah. It is one of the essential Breslov practices. For more information check out the book "The Sweetest Hour". All the blessings.

chatzos is in gemmarah then naturally hallachah one of the first in the shulchan aruch i think the language is who ever is a g d fearing jew should interupt and get up from his sleep and mourn over jerusalem and its temple like king david"with his cool alarm clock the harp hangin over his bed the eastern wind would blow by its self at exactly mid night.and hopefully we can all fulfill the saying of our sages whoever cries over the destruction will rejoice in its rebuilding.
